I am hearing more and more about the Thermo control value issue on 2020+ 2.5L engines and Subaru Canada has TSB now ....

Can any one please post Canadian TSB 09-04-21

 

US TSB is available here which covers as Powertain coverage while in Canada subaru choose to discriminates us covering only 60K and 3 years.

 

why discriminating behaviour while issue is same, part is same and car is same..

 

its expensive $2K repair out of pocket as they are failing between 50K and 80K

i updated to 704 from 502 OTA and just simply waited as i know these processors are slow and everything went well ...after full update was done car beeped continuously and doors were locked and will not open with remote and i used key to unlock and turn off car and waited 5 min before restart car and everything worked. system shows 704 ....HVAC works, everything seems normal. i will report if i discover any issues....

I am in new sub division and with this update I got everything of my area....nice..one more quick question....can we change map colours? I look for setting but can't locate one..

on my 2015 legacy I has seen many problems related to camera so Subaru replaced lens.

I have one now and I will change oil next month and find out if its same or not.

I had 2015 legecy limited and had 16” winter tires. I try to move same steel rims to 2020 legecy premier as winter replacement and I see not enough clearance....is there a change from 2015 front brakes to 2020. I could not mount those 16” wheels

Picked up my Premier here in Canada. Realized that Maps are from 08-2018. I checked on Subaru website there is no update....since it’s tomtom anyway to update from tomtom site?

Can some one guide me here on dealer price on 2.5 Touring and 2.5 Premier in Ontario canada. i have employer promotion for dealer invoice + 4%

Currently they offered me $1200 discount on 2.5 Touring and $1500 discount on Premier. According to unhaggle it seems incorrect.

 

Also, would like to know bolt pattern on wheels. i own 2015 limited 2.5 and wheels are not same. Your feedback will help me close the deal on one or other.

According to new TSB can any one please share the file NU9021 for my 2015 SU Legecy with NAV. i m at 9020 and Mirror link does not work and its Canadian Vehicle. Highly appreciate your help.

heads up to Canadian models this will not activate mirror link ..as Canadian vehicles are not equipped with mirror link.

if some one can do impact analysis on this windshield we can collect all our money back from manufacturer....it seems some thing is wrong....i lost mine less than 5000 Miles and thanks to my zero deductible insurance they replaced it for cost of CAD 890...but i want to know why we have so much complain on windshield. I drove toyota for years and never had an issue..i still have 2014 RAv4 and so many stones hits windshield yet not a single crack or chip.

I install my 20mm Bar today...it was the easiest swap i ever did...easier than even oil change. I dont know if it make big difference but will take to work tomorrow and see on freeway...car is new so it was easy to remove bolts and torque them back.
