The only cars that really use aluminum are sports cars. Stamped steel is so much more practical than aluminum. At least it's not cast!

infiniti and lexus have aluminum parts on their cars.
Look at the pics of a new subaru i bot for amount of corrosion this thing will get in future.

these subarus are prone to corrosion as evidenced in pics above.
why the f#$%$%$ didnt they use aluminum components is beyond me?

Steel, do a 50 mile trip on at least a 65mph highway and you will notice. The bar is a snap and I think it rides like it should have in the first. Nothing worse in ice and snow than wandering steering. Even subaru advertises the bar to correct the sway at highway speeds.
i didnt notice any sway when i drove the 3.6 r home at 80+ on highway.
did they change this on later legacy's
Anyone with wheel bearing issues?

haven't been here in a while.
Our 2015 3.6 R making howling noise in rear right with acceleration
and gets louder with speed. Its not the brakes. I think its probably
a wheel bearing. Anyone else have this issue?
