It’s not about traffic. We live in a rural area and the roads are very windy. The pre-collision braking is constantly coming on when you go around turns. We are talking about sharp turn country roads. The other day I went into the settings and turned it off before I went to work, and the brakes were still grinding every time I went around a sharp turn. I can’t imagine that’s good for the car or the brakes

Is there a way to permanently disable the pre-collision braking? I know I can shut it off by going into the car settings, but I have to do that every time I drive. Is there a module or something I can pull? I already have the lane warning stuff shut off and that seems to stay off. This is for our 2021 Legacy Limited

We have a 2015 Legacy Premium that has served us well. Our daughter has the car now at school. Looking at getting a new 2021 Legacy Limited. Love the car and features, but my god, what did Subaru do that rear end? That big black plastic panel over where the exhaust would normally be seen just looks hideous. What were they thinking. If I can get myself past that horrific rear end, is there anything else I should know about the new versions?

Awesome. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this. I was planning on doing the install and your PDF made it easier. Can you comment on the sound performance after the install? I have been wanting to do this, but I don't want to replace the head unit of the premium. I know you have to stay with more efficient speakers, but did the factory system drive the new speakers well enough?
