  1. With the Size and Weight of the New Gen I recommend either Perrin or Whiteline 22mm Adjustable Swaybars with Kartboy Endlinks..

I have an Outback (BS Chasis) that I will eventually be lowering to legacy height, maybe a bit lower. I'm leaning more towards the 24mm because of the added weight in addition to my driving style and the roads I drive on in my area. Maybe one day I can get around to a few autoX races for shits and gigs

  2. For those that are running the Whiteline 24mm RSB (Part # BSR49XXZ), what supporting mods have you done to the front suspension, more specifically for the FSB? I have read of some guys using a 24mm FSB for a 2008-2014 STi (Part # BSF39XZ), but from what I have seen there has been some small fitment issues. Wanted to know if anybody has found any alternatives or possibly what the trick is to get the Whiteline FSB to fit
  3. The install was a pain - there's a bend to go around the turbo plumbing on a WRX that makes it difficult. I had to unbolt the front engine mount and tilt the engine up to make enough clearance. The thick bars control lean well, but a bump on one side induces some side-to-side shaking - definitely not a boulevard ride. In combination with my alignment (0 toe & -0.5* camber at all 4 corners) it's neutral at the limit and like to turn in.

Is this the 24mm bar for the 2008-2014 STi? BSF39XZ is the Part Number from whiteline. I saw another thread where some of the guys were giving this a shot but one of them was coming into some issues with metal on metal contact during small bumps/road depressions. have you had any issues?

  4. We need to revive this, I know Robbie sold his Legacy and got a Camaro, but other than that I don't know what the rest of these guys are up to. I am currently considering a 24mm RSB and would like something tight up front to balance everything out; unfortunately outside of a STB I haven't found much luck with regards to modifications to stiffen up the front suspension.
  5. I think Bren Tuning knows what they're doing, but I would only recommend an e-tune with anyone if your car has no CELs or mechanical issues which could affect the tune progress. Right now after 3 maps from Bren my car is still throwing a Fuel Bank 1 running lean CEL so tuner isn't reading any of my datalogs or sending any new maps. Meanwhile after 30 days, my e-tune 'contract' runs out

The tuner says it's not his map, it's a mechanical issue.

The local (very professional) Subie shop says the car checks out, it's probably the tune causing it.

So I'm stuck in no man's land & it's starting to get aggravating

Bring it to another specialist and get another opinion.
