131.....ABP.....2005 Legacy GT wagon MT Unltd
Gex, there was only "one" of your wagon's ever produced. I think yours came off the showroom floor it looks so good. Dude!

I was trying to buy one of those Mach 1 wings from a guy up north. Just could not scrape the cash together to get it. Need other things first....
Nice job magnuson on the paint, looks great!

I tailgated a LGT up an on-ramp yesterday in the Sonic. I was feeling pretty good until the LGT hit 3rd gear and hit the throttle hard. Work party at my house this weekend to get mine back on the road.
I was with the wife on the motorcycle on Saturday and saw another GRP wagon by the Issaquah P/R headed up and across 900 towards the zoo.

Gex, your wagon looks really nice!!!

In a way you are right...Adopting a Paleo lifestyle was BY FAR the best 30 LBS I ever took out of my race car!
The health community I participate in:

Click the Success Stories Tab, someday I'll be putting mine up there.
Hi Gator, my wife is Paleo and I am attempting to go that route as well. I will see if I can make it down to PIR in Kent in 2 weeks for you.

I love them! I'm really hoping I can either find everything required for the JDM specB revD-F front end swap or just do a revA-C specB front end.
I would imagine valleylegacy could hook you up with the parts....

H20 and I will be the only guys left here in 10 years with our 300k LGTs, long after everyone has blown their motors and rage quit Subaru ownership
This is going to be my very next mod:

Interesting. I was filling up today at a place in Issaquah called the Grange, where they sell Centex gasoline. I was in there looking for a fuel system cleaner and found one by Amsoil that I threw in the gas tank today before filling up the tank with 15 gallons of gas. I also found a Oil Cleaner by Amsoil as well that you throw in the oil just before the oil change and then let it idle for about 10 minutes then drain your oil. I have used Amsoil trnas fluid before for my GM truck but other than that it has always been to expensive for my budget. Come to think of it now, I may wait on the oil cleaner as I am getting a Blackstone kit for OA hopefully in the next couple days.

Just got mine today. Gonna install them when I get my VF40 back. We'll be twinsies
Valleylegacy has a set coming in and I told him to put me on the hook for them.
Haha, I actually was boring and went with JmP's OE-style rebuild. Upgraded internals for reliability and to fix IHI oiling issues, but same performance. When my time comes for preventative maintenance on the rebuild I will do the same thing on my turbo.
Let me tell you, it was tempting. But time and time again I see this pattern of people buying a Subaru, building it, blowing it up, and selling it. I'm trying to avoid that as much as I can.Ditto!
Take lots of pics when you doPlease do!

Any recommendations on a Exhaust shop in the Bellevue/Issaquah area?

I think valleylegacy might have another set. I know he had a few for sale. Alex in Vancouver with the black wagon just got a set as well. I'd send valley legacy a PM and see if he has anymore.
already sent him one. and yes Alex was able to grab that other set from Valleylegacy as well. I was subscribed to that fs listing. Thank you.

Got the taillights installed yesterday afternoon.
manusonsubie I was trying to purchase those at the same time you did, I could not get the cash together at the time. Love the tails on both yours and Gex's wagon.

at least your honest, you are a little easier with your comments. I think most are wondering when its their turn for the beat down.
-
Damn dude! Didn't realize that. I rolled over 100 last week
I be rollin' towards 172k

I have a set on my car right now, I'll take a picture for you tomorrow when it's light out
please, thank you!

Ouch an aging turbo Subaru is a tough car to own with depleted funds. Hope you can get it back up to snuff before failure.
after being on this forum I believe they are tuff cars to own even when you have funds. From another thread "I think my wallet is going on another diet again."

Wow...seriously was not aware of how rare these wagons are...my car is 1 of 77 in GRP. Sweet!
Yup! Sumthin' like that... Fun cars, Sleeper!

I've never found Chaplin's parts prices to be anywhere close to competitive. Glad your experience is different...I guess...
I had a horrible experience purchasing a used car there a couple years back.
As for the buyer's inspection on the wagon, it was a great experience. Came in under what they quoted by over $100, I was to say the least.

A little over 170k as well. Just purchased it and need to start investigating what has been added to the car by the one previous owner. Aftermarket exhaust was found today.
