Just out of curiosity if my cvt were to ever go boom and needed to be replaced, how difficult would it be for a shop to put in the 6 speed tranny that comes with the 2.5i. I know its a lot more than just the tranny that goes in but would it be that difficult since they already can come with 6mt.

That is what I did! Brought two mufflers and he did the rest. Paid $150 for the install and $150 for some mufflers that were sold here a while back. Sounds much nicer now im just about to do a resonator delete to make it a tad louder and enhance teh rice

 

What mufflers did you get and do you have a video of them?

what is the best way to make the 2.5i have passenger and driver side exhaust. Do they make kits for it or should I just go to a shop with 2 mufflers and have something made up. Also would a stock lgt exhaust bolt up?

You would have to do it yourself probably. Print out some individual gauge cups and then fiberglass them together onto the vent.

 

Now I kind of like that idea the more I read it. I might try it.

 

I haven't done any work with fiberglass but its worth a try. I think dual vent pods is the cleanest set up and its in a practical spot

Is there anyway to make a dual vent pod like this for a lot cheep then $125
