  1. Hey all! So on my adventures of figuring out this obd2 connector issue of mine, I came across a weird event.....so my kline should be getting between 6 to 7 volts when ignition is set to on. Well not in my case...my kline pin 7 has 12v to 13v...when turning ignition off it will drop to 6v.. so hooking up a scanner with ignition on I can't get it...so I got to thinking...maybe a high voltage is an issue...So I tried getting into the ecu with car off and boom I got in.. Ovcourse I couldn't read any codes because everything is off...but I got in. So does anyone know what is going on? Also the pin 16 does still have a constant 12 to 13volts.* I tested all the pins at ecu and the kline doesn't get voltage unplugged...only gets voltage when plugged into ECU. So I'm thinking the ECU regulates the voltage to the kline and what ever regulates it is blown....???* Any thing you guys and gals could think might be the issue? Or what I can do to correct this high voltage to the kline.... Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  2. Hey everyone! I'm trying to diagnose my 2004 Subaru Legacy B4 RSK. It's been having some weird idle issues and tried getting into my ecu but I can't get in. So I did the manual diagnostic mode and read the flashes. The codes are not making sense to me, I'm getting a 19 and 122, from the write up I came across, 19 is injector 6 but I don't have an injector 6 and I can't find code 122. Can someone help me please? Videos of ecu codes and idle issue below. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  3. lol yup I could agree, was probably a Honda owner. I'm looking for an oem air intake now to replace the short ram. I've already gotten the stock maf. I sprayed some brake cleaner around vacuum lines and actually found a leak around throttle body. It seems they used a paper gasket. I have a metal gasket, so going to swap it. While I have the throttle body out, I'm going to clean it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  4. Well I've actually just got this car about 2 weeks ago. No engine changes made by me. The car has a short ram intake, after market piston and rods, and that's about it. They still have the neutral switch connected so I'm assuming the auto ECU is still in the car. The issues I'm having is just idle issues. The car runs good other than a high idle.
  5. I had a question to ask. Is it possible to put in a manual ECU into a auto to manual swap car, same model? Reason I'm asking is because my legacy is a auto to manual swap(by previous owner). For some reason it isn't idling right. It idles between 1100 and 1500. Checked all sensors and they turn out to be good. I can get into the obd2 connector. I get power but no link. The check engine light doesn't come on...bulb isn't blown.. was hoping to do the manual diagnostic codes but engine light won't come on. Also, when plugging in my maf... the engine won't start... but when I unplug it, it will start right up. Need some help please!! Thanks. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  6. Hey guys and gals, I'm having a hell of a time trying to diagnose my 99 Legacy B4 twin turbo motor. I'm hearing a knock, it isn't load and you can barely hear it. The spark plugs were changed about 2/3 months ago, I was told to check the gaps but I'm sure sold that, that is what it could be. I changed the oil to 10w-40 and I put awhole bottle of Lucus Oil treatment. Still knocks, I used the famous screw driver to block trick and I hear the knock in the back 2 cylinders. I attached a video. It sounds loud in video but it isn't that loud. Can anyone help? Thanks! http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5e...94166c/VID-20200614-WA0000.mp4 Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
