Nameless thank you for gathering all the facts I appreciate the effort I forgot to add I did have a turbosmart kompact on during my time cause I heard the stock one leaks, But also after my clamps came off during my tune we took the car off the dyno n on a lift to make sure everything was bolted up correctly n double check my ebcs And nvr touched it since, went back on the dyno and same problem then only switched the dp and midpipe n was able to tune with no spikes , So I hope Jarred can help you with the logs And if u also need the logs from the tune with the invidia pls email Anthony Barry from drunkmann tuning at his website I had to use a different tuner cause jarred only flys out to Hawaii a couple times a year n needed to fix the problem fast and Anthony was next available reputable tuner,.

We all have been patiently waiting for test results and have been in contact with you guys , other than the 3 people that have good results with the gb downpipe,me n other have very similar issues, I sent you guys an email regarding how my tune went , and u replied and asked if I had a ebcs,and if I had oriented the dp as much as I could to the front of the car, n I did both, but orienting the dp towards the front should have been clear from the start seein most people will bolt it up. So I had a Grimmspeed 3port ebcs RacerX tmic and nameless axle backs,stock midpipe, and np dp With a Cobb tuner And had jarred from pdx tuning tuning my car I believe he is a reputable tuner and has been tuning subarus for over a decade and is a neighbor of yours, Pls email him for the logs he has them on his laptop under devin 2012lgt He has tuned a few subarus for me with good results Now during the tune once he would get into boost it would immediately jump to 24lbs of boost and hit 395 lbs of torque and even with his expertise n tricks of ways to combat it , it couldn't be controlled I had to pay for tune fee350,dyno fee 140 , and 750for the dp ,and 150 to install all wasted n not putting all blame on anyone, but there are others who have had massive overboost issues not just 1-3psi, pls try and email him thru pdx website for the logs I just want a refund I don't have the time or money to redo this n after that that already happened I had to get a new downpipe reinstall n pay for another tune that working with no issues, I was able to get a invidia catless dp used and all I changed was the downpipe n also added a nameless performance mid pipe ,and not touching anything else And was able to tune with no problems target boost 19.5 with no over boost issues n got 306whp and 356 flbs

I ran my nameless dp with stock midpipe but had nameless axel backs But hits 24psi only half throttle, now I'm running catless invidia with nameless cat back n target boost 19.5 and in wot will only creep to 20.5 which is acceptable. I just can't wait to hear back on what nameless finds with the revised dp I have a paper weight of 700 bucks I want to return

  8. What do you guys think about the new Infiniti Q60 coupe? I guess there's three versions 2.0t Benz motor ahh but the twin turbo v6 two options it's say one is 300and 400 horse power and optional awd I wonder if it's the same motor for 300 and 400 how are they getting the extra 100 horsepower?? Possibly could get a 300 lightly optioned for under 50 At least cheaper than a Lexus rc And boosted

Yes I did creep with temps in the high 80's to low 90's with np do n stock mid with np axel backs But now invidia catless with np catback target boost Is set at 19.5 and in wot it creeps to bout 20.4 once in a while 21.1 Not like b4 with np downpipe thing was hitting 24psi I hope nameless test the new version n can give us a refund

When I was overboosting I was running my stock midpipe with 5" nameless axel backs Now running nameless catback From what I read about eleckseven and apex And from my experience I don't think anything would help with the overboosting except for changing the downpipe, With the nameless one no matter what my tuner did u can't fully drive or wot without it overboosting n no one wants to drive around out of boost for months like I did , n hats off to eleckseven I imagine he's been out of boost forever now and thinks his gt is a 2.5i
  11. I don't think weather has much to do with the over boost here in Hawaii it was mid day bout 90degress wgdc set at 0 and still hiting21-24 psi

  13. Looks good , just careful if you had to stretch to the end of the hoses the bead on the charge pipe is a little small n on dyno under boost may pop off, I had mine weld a bigger bead on it and now it's all good , good job though
  14. I've contacted them several times n reply back with excuses of install or boost creep of few psi is normal , mine just doesn't work n want a refund I sent two emails in the past two weeks now with no response
  15. So haruichi, You were overboosting with the Nameless DP, stock midpipe, and Nameless cans, correct? Yes. And with catless tbe no creep I did email nameless a few times and had asked them to read the thread which he said hey did n maybe didn't read all of it , just came back and said we are talking about creep but if it creeps 1-3 psi that it's normal yes but not some of of that creep to 24psi, o boi, same as the others guys with problems my tuner said maybe I installed my ebcs wrong or it was faulty , I triple checked after and it was was , for me was just to swap dp, I hope the rest of you consider just doin that, or if able to fix nameless dp

Sorry I forgot I did have my stock midpipe with nameless dp and nameless 5" axel backs when it was dyno n over boosting, when I dyno the second time I swapped dp and a nameless midpipe so now it's pretty much straight thru with one resonator in midpipe and the two mini 5" mufflers but it tuned perfect builds boost niclely and. Holds, nameless just crazy spike I didn't really feel boost much but I saw my gauge go up so fast you just instantly have to let off
  17. Ok so does any of the group buy buyers feel that they should get some sort of refund for faulty downpipes? Like eleckseven and smoove , during my dyno tune my car with grim speed 3port which nameless recommends , my car was boostin 24 psi and 395 tq and unable to control it, I talk to nameless and said to orient the dp forward ,that's why they drilled the holes in the flange bigger , but there isn't any room to move forward , since dyno tune fail I have only swapped out the down pipe to a invidia catless and car tuned fine did 306-356 on dyno jet,target boost 19.5 and incase creeps over 21 I have a realtime map set at 18.5 , in wot once in a while it will hit high 20's or 21.3 at redline But pulls nicely , with the nameless and only quarter throttle not even at4k the car hit 24 psi that's just not right. I only swapped downpipes and one works and other doesn't ,should they give a refund?
  18. It's doesnt come with a adapter If your using oem catback you need a 3" to 2.5" adapter and a 2.5 donut ,unless your stock one is ok mine was If you have a 3"catback then everything nameless gives you will work ,but in the gb mine didn't come with a 3"donut so I had to buy a new one

Since I have emailed them about an exchange for midpipe or refund and had gotten the reply to adjust the dp toward the front of the car cause the holes were over drilled, but there in no room to move it. I'm very sad n dishearten cause it cost time n money plus wasted tune, that's why I had switched to an invidia already and now no problems, I haven't emailed back yet wanting a refund but I think that they should but don't expect it since I installed it but damn it don't work on my car and I have their axel backs n works great other than that just a tmic and was perfect b4 I installed that dp;(

I had the same issue as smoov when I tuned last month I hit 24psi and 395tq so he let off and tuner said can't control boost , I'm using oem studs and there pretty much no wiggle room to push the dp over away from the wastage, so I changed to a invidia catless dp and on a etune till I can put in back on the dyno, I'm very sad the nameless didn't work, with the current dp n etune it pulls smoothly with no spike, I tried 2nd,and 3rd gear and hits 17psi
  21. You know you're probably going to want to re-tune if you throw a different DP on there, right? Most tuners would charge you a lower rate than the initial tune to revise the tune for new parts, so you shouldn't be out another $500 to retune... True I had to pay double dyno fee last time cause we were trying to figure out so it will be 140 plus300 for tune , my tuner flys to Hawaii to do group tunes every few months but he train to come back in. A month for me and a few others
  22. I already spent 500 bucks on a tune and can't afford to do it again I'm just gonna swap out with a catless invidia dp, any one interested in my nameless do with intermidiate pipe

So I asked nameless for input and this is what I got ekcselevn did u try this There is a very simple resolution - just loosen up the bolts and shift the downpipe forward relative to the car and bolt it back on. It was probably installed pushed all the way to the back of the range of tolerance and was hitting due to that. I don't believe we had a single customer that actually had a part altered at all. The only people with issues were able to be resolved by simply adjusting the location of the downpipe flange relative to the turbine housing. We make the bolt holes oversized a bit to prevent shearing of the turbine housing studs during heat cycling. If the downpipe was even installed centered on the bolt holes it should have no issues.

I'm running np dp,stock mid ,and np 5"axel backs ,grimmspeed ebcs, stock turbo and wastegate , on one of the pulls it spiked to 24 psi and hit 395 tq I just ordered a mildly used invidia catless downpipe for 200 bucks I can't afford to put back on the dyno with nameless dp n still have these problems, my car is babied I drive 10 miles a day n ran perfect till install of this dp, there one guy near me with same set up with invidia catless and tuned last year with same tuner and no problems and I'm in Hawaii so I guess sea level up to1500ft elevation On another note anyone ever install this iq dw downpipe from Russia http://m.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Downpipe-for-Subaru-Legacy-2-5GT-BM9-BR9-/262390344713?nav=SEARCH
