  1. So I have replaced this assembly several times and the subaru boards are crap and the leds last maybe a year or so on my vehicle before they start having issues. Had a friend of mine make some custom boards to replace the oem ones. so far so good. Here is the link. A lot cheaper also then buying the whole thing. eBay
  2. your compressor does not have a clutch so it will always be spinning. it has an electronic control valve that turns compressor on and off internally. there was an ecu update for smart charging available for these cars to help with battery charging. i would recommend inquiring at the dealer to get update performed.
  3. do you get in the car with your foot pressing on the brake pedal to guide you in? if this is done, remaining vacuum in the booster gets depleted. if not, i would suspect a leaking check valve that should be located inside the hose going to the booster if its similar to most vehicles.
  4. there was a production change on mufflers due to a bad spot weld internal to the muffler. it is a service bulletin and will require a new muffler to fix the issue.

  6. repair may have been done incorrectly. i would have them redo the repair or try another dealer. and/or call subaru customer service.

  9. not under warranty but replaced. needs new circuit board with led included. updated style. runs about 80 bucks to buy part online. search the forums. the part number is listed.
  10. picture of new head unit from angle with flash light right on it-no grid lines. just completely uniformed grey screen. if they tell you grid lines are normal through sunlight they are totally wrong. new unit is perfect with no grid lines just like when you purchased your car new.
  11. 1/4" 3M Vinyl Striping on amazon- tomato red. easy to apply and looks great.

  13. that is a bad head unit. new one will not have grid lines seen even in direct sunlight.
  14. got my head unit replaced under subaru gold warranty on my 15. looks fantastic. no more grid lines even in direct sunlight.
  15. only have access to united states updates of legacy and outback. other countries have different updates. sorry.
  16. obviously its a warranty issue or you can pay to replace it if out of warranty.
  17. for all of those that are seeing lines on there 15-17 avn head units. it requires head unit replacement for display error. per tsb#15-177-14r
  18. lazy dealer. request it to be updated, call subaru customer service, or you can install yourself with know how.
  19. ok so here it goes. 15-205-16r has been revised since december 2017. all update files have been updated. i can still get you the new files but please be patient on time frame sending. it does take awhile to upload. once you receive them please download files quickly so i can clear google drive. I'm happy to assist in everyone getting the latest and greatest. still need email and what file you need and can send you the updated version number in a pm.
