found this today, would love to know if the legacy has the same fuse box cover as a WRX. I don't see why they would look so similar and be different.

Also i was kinda upset that I paid extra for the STI pedals but I got a plastic dead pedal. I confirmed this will fit. I took the dead pedal off my 05 WRX and it is the same as the legacy.

  2. Don't know if anyone else noticed, but japanparts.com has a bunch of new parts for the Legacy and Outback, you just have to look through all the sections to see what they have... There's an STI strut tower bar, power folding mirrors, a bunch of other stuff but I'm very interested in the display corner sensor they have even though I'm not totally sure what it even is lol here's the link to all sections for the legacy:

i'd really like to learn more about the power folding mirrors, especially for only $39. i doubt that the motors are already installed and no switch is in the US models.

  3. Nice work jyjellu!!! Glad you got some good results. It looks like the Nameless tips need to be extended outward by an inch or two to be more flush with the rear bumper valance.

yeah 2 1/8" will make it flush. I will have to cut off the hanger on the axle back then add the 2 1/8" and weld the hanger back on

Very informative. It's your Legacy and it's great your making it your own. Keep the information coming, you might be the first but this thread will be reference for years to come. 🔨🔨🔨

thanks man I hope this helps so more people.

  4. So I would like to start off by saying I don't care about anyone's argument about duel exhaust, its my car and i do what i want to it, i don't care what you think or about your two cents. I do what I do and i don't mind helping like mined people do the same thing. So if your against duel exhaust just back out of this thread now, if your are into the idea and have been following my post here's some info.

The Nameless tips don't work (very well) with the stock 2.5 exhaust on my 2015. the gaskets are different and the flange bolts don't line up. Since I've got a fifth gen 3.6 mid pipe things are looking up. took off my stock mid pipe today and installed the 3.6 with zero issue. Flanges matched up perfect, hangers all match and the nameless axle backs work as intended with the 3.6 exhaust. the 3.6 mid pipe from the resonator back is a bigger pipe but no fitment issues. another good find i found was on the passenger side where there are not hangers welded in, it is easy to see where they go because there is metal that is formed for them (see picture) Until I get the hangers and weld them in I'm going to make a block off for the passenger side exhaust for now once i'm done with the block off I will give it to whomever for free if they would like to do the same set up as I.

  5. Fake duel exhaust *face palm* I'm not detoured just because people say a few things don't fit, I'll order the correct parts and make everything work. Cutting and welding an exhaust has to be one of the easiest things to do on a car. When i get back home tomorrow I'll start back up on my car and get the 3.6 exhaust in, made a block off plate for the passenger side tip, mock up the new tips and weld hangers in. I'll post pictures of how it's going and any mods that need to be done.
  6. Nice find; I figured that their weren't any hangers welded on the passenger side but wasn't able to get under a 2.5 to take a look.

Can you confirm for the 2.5 guys however that the Nameless axle back does mount up on just the driver side at the pipe?

it does... kinda, the holes on the flange on the nameless is about 1/4" closer together then then the sixth gen 2.5 exhaust. Also the stock muffler to mid pipe uses a circle O ring style gasket so the stock flanges are made to adapt that type of gasket. The nameless exhaust uses a standard 2 bolt gasket. I used a smaller bolt on the tips just to mock up the tailpipe, it worked but the exhaust leaks at the connection. even with the nameless 2 bolt gasket. Since i bought a 3.6 mid pipe i double checked and the flanges match up perfect on the nameless to the OEM mid pipe. i haven't installed my mid pipe yet and wont be able to until Wednesday so im not sure how the 3.6 mid pipe will work but by the looks of it, its fine, just need to weld two hangers on the passenger side for the muffler hangers.

  7. so i got good new and bad news. First the Nameless axle backs fits just the stock muffler does, but the flange to attach to the mid pipe doesn't match up 100% its about half a bolt off. I did get the 3.6 mid pipe so it attaches to that just fine. i ran out of daylight today so i didn't install the mid pipe. Also i can't believe i didn't check or notice this but on the 2.5's there are no hangers welded to the body on the passenger side, not the end of the world but i will need to get them welded on to make the mid pipe and pass muffler work
