  1. https://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/5661305 The Red wagon is up for sale, i'll give a discount if anybody here wants it
  2. its been fun so far at least, haven't blasted it in the canyons yet though. it has a DW65c fuel pump for the exhaust , its a AVO midpipe -> Varex valved mufflers that I had custom fitted for the "axleback" portion and they are 2.5" through. its nice to have the rumble , but it resonates in the wagon hatch area on the highway, so then i just use the remote to shut the valve and its just a tick louder than stock
  3. yep , regular 91 its got: GS intake Perrin turbo inlet VF52 GS intercooler GS 3port ECBS GS UP & DP 3" mid-pipe to 2.5" Y running 18-18.5psi on stock injectors, which Alex told me were the limiting factor right now, but i'm content for now
  4. Car is tuned and ready to go! 282whp and 300wtq are pretty good numbers for me, especially when the engine is ticking at 167k miles when we gonna plan this meet out? :spin:
  5. Just got done with a pre-tune inspection , Car is getting tuned on the 15th by Alex Pasquin over at Ignition logic
  6. I'd be down and depending on when we plan , i MIGHT have time to throw the vf52 on and get it properly tuned
  7. Mmmmm I always liked those volvo wagons, and with the polestar flash , those things are real sleepers
  8. yeah dude, Ive wanted a good set of 5 spokes, and after seeing the gc-05s , not much compares in the simple sleek aesthetic
  9. It's what it looks like hah, GC-05Fs in 17" British black
  10. Mmmm this weather is great, im glad I could finally get my summer wheels and tires on , they were a lot harder to find than I initially thought!
  11. true that , I had a winter tire get a sidewall puncture and a brake line burst this winter, along with chasing a few high-mileage gremlins, its a love/hate relationship, but I "think" i'm making progress hah.
  12. same issue I had on my wagon when I first bought it , I replaced the motor first , but still nothing , and I looked back into the records the car came with and apparently it was diagnosed as a bad harness some years before, but never replaced cause 3rd party warranty wouldn't pay for it. Replaced that and its right as rain Either way , it was surprisingly easy to replace both items, although I couldn't tell ya how to figure out which one it is .
  13. Nice! e85 sounds like a ton of fun ,but that immidiately goes out the door when you have to deal with stuff like that. Another meet sounds good too!
  14. hah yes, that popped up as I was going to browse the classifieds, seems like a pretty serious build, to put 520 to the wheels
  15. So I've been perusing exhaust options for legacy wagons, and I was actually debating to throw on a stock system and install an electric cutout , so I can have super quiet or super loud, but all the things I hear about cutouts leaking after a while, it seems to nullify having a stock exhaust. I did find a Australian company called X-Force that makes a "tunable muffer" which is essentially an electric cutout, but inside the muffler. They make a couple of systems with that muffler, unfortunately nothing for the LGT, but looking at their other products, they make a "regular" catback for the legacy . It's a 304 stainless system, with2.5" piping, but its only 440USD? They're a kinda newer company but still, im surprised that it's that cheap. Of course most of the vids on youtube are aussie spec GTs, so equal length header. Exhaust https://www.summitracing.com/parts/xfo-es-sl05-cbs/overview/ here's a mustang with that system: also btw, I'm still looking for a stock DP and catback for the time being , if anybody has one thats taking up space and wants to convert it into some cash
  16. aww bummer, that stromung exhaust is the volvo wagon is great too, gotta love that box
  17. Anybody have a stock cat-back layin' around? Trying to part Hops from his stromung, but he needs something to replace it , and the previous owner of my wagon had the smart idea to weld the stock downpipe to aftermarket cat-back.
  18. All good choices , hah . and okay , once you post up what mods you have on the wagon , I'll see what I can do.
  19. Oh nice! changing it up is always a fun thing, and you've stuck with the 4th gen legacy quite a long time , hah. What are you thinking about getting? and Aaaaa if I hadn't bought my MT wagon like 5 months ago , I would totally be interested in yours. I might be interested in some parts though, if you wanted to do some swapping
  20. We had a fun little bit at the shop, apparently we were crashing a miata meet or something
  21. Ill be there, crossing my fingers weather will play nice
  22. Ugh , I can't remember exactly, but I think they were focused more on if all the cats were there, and the readiness monitors correct
  23. yeahhh... they were pretty stuffy and by the book in my experience , hah. and I totally get you , its bad enough you have to put on the stock parts to pass, but then you have put back on all the fun parts before you're back in business , and if you dont have a hookup, gotta do that every year
  24. you might try , but yeah , i think they mark you down in the system to prevent you just going somewhere else. They are more scrutinizing at the health and air board place, I threw the stock DP on, and even then , they dinged me for not having the stock catted UP, and reset the readiness monitors and saw some of them stayed in the "ready" position because of the tune. I think your best bet is to have your tuner send you a "limp" tune to limit boost and to un-tick the auto-ready of the monitors, throw on the stock pipes, and get 'r done. Your tuner might have a better idea about this, but I think you should be able to pass with e85 and your injectors. stuff like this is a little why I envy not just living in like Tooele or something, hah , where ya dont have to worry about it at all
  25. They always look so pretty before you install 'em , all nice and shiny
