I made mine so i could get additional air into the engine bay where the air filter sits. i have a k&n typhoon and it gets mighty toasty at idle. so i rigged up a way to get cooler air from outside the engine bay.

I just took out the fog light and used some heater pipe to route the air from the fog up to the intake. i hardly use my fogs during summer so its no big deal. figure when winter comes the air will be cold enough that it wont need a ram air so i will
take it back apart and put my fog back in.

its good as a reference point. if you start getting odd readings with the WB then take a look at the factory O2. it will show you if the sensor is way off or if the car is way off.
i used the factory O2 to help figure out if my wb sensor was messed up.

does anybody have the MAF valves for a K&N typhoon?
tried dialing them in but it just kept jumping around cant pin the values down.

does anybody have the STU map from the cobb forums? i wanna try and build one for myself but since i have a 5EAT i cant use the one on the cobb forum.
screen shots of the map or cut/paste in excel would be greatly appreciated.
or better yet how about an official map from cobb for us 5eat guys.

1 - why one step colder plugs
2. what does subscribe mean?

1. 1 step colder plugs help prevent detonation when running mods. (ie more boost/fuel/air/bigger turbo etc.)
2. means that you get emails on if the thread gets new posts, but dont have to post in the thread. (ie if someone posts a thread of interest to you, but dont have anything to post in the thread (eg. a thread from a vendor about an upcoming product))
