i have no experience with the s-techs but most have said they are quite low on the legacy.

 

from what I've read the drop is 1.5 inches.not sure if ill like that much of a drop but I'm getting a killer deal so i figured why not

they're just tein s techs. came off a 06 sedan i just found out

spec.B front top hats have the side effect of lifting the car slightly. Its why most spec.B's look like the front is riding slightly high.

 

ahh makes sense. i can't find anything that says they are "spec b specific" on rally sports site they say they are confirmed for 05-09 lgt limited 05-06 gt (non limited) and spec b 06-09

 

*edit* they came off an 06 sedan (non spec b)

yes the springs will fit, however if the springs are specifically designed for bilsteins and you use GT/KYB style shocks/tophats you could end up lowering the front of your car a lot more than you had planned.

why just the front?

will lowering springs for a spec b fit on my 05 wagon. From what I've read springs should swap right over. just want to confirm it. I know id have to get different tophats when i replace the struts but I'm just swapping springs for now.

this week me and a few buddies and my dog went camping. had 4 people,everyones camping gear, 4 days worth of food, fishing gear and a 100lb dog. realized i really like how low it sat with all the weight..

I did that (long bars) on a 90's Legacy back then. I actually had 2 boxes on it. It was okay- just watch your head and warn passengers because a bar in the side of your face getting in or out sucks.

 

Ive racked my head a few times on my bars this winter. does not feel good

i drove mine after 5 days of being dead. was amazing

has anyone had a snowboard rack and a box at the same time? ill be driving (moving) to colorado this year and i bought bars big enough to fit both just have yet to see it
