So I tore my front end apart because I thought the drive axels were failing and they seem fine. I had the knocks at low speed turning, knock from forward to reverse but the axles seem fine. And the bearings seem fine. Is this something that only shows under load or do I look somewhere else?

I keep getting this code. It comes more often in the summer and made it through most of the winter without coming up. I replaced the coil packs and spark plugs. I just did a leak down test on 2 and 4. It was in the green 10 to 20 percent. I could hear a little leak from the oil fill tube but haven't checked the other areas. I'm not burning oil, and I drive over 85 all the time. I'm not smoking either. It purrs like a kitten till the code comes up the there is a bit of a rough idle. Kind of loped out. On a full scan I'm getting C0110 and B0223 codes as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's penetrating oil. The turbine shaft split but nothing grenaded it just stopped. I want to go with the replacement cartridge but when I saw the crack I thought I was out of luck.

My turbocharger went out some time ago and I just got serious about fixing it. So after a week of penetrating oil propane torches and hammering I finally got my turbo separated and I found some problems. I was going to get a replacement cartridge but with the cracks on the waste gate I guess a whole new unit is in order. Any thoughts?
