Hey guys, Sorry for being silent on here. but I am in need of getting my cv joint replaced. Subaru is charging $300 and Sixtar Service bout $290. I was wondering if anyone know where I can find a better deal or alternative resource. I thought about doing it myself but it be my first time and I have every tool except the one you need for the pin that locks the bolt. ( I think) any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

True! Sorry man I been busy this week. We need to do another Rays or Alpharetta meet. I've notice more leggys in north of otp even other wagons showing stance. you may have seen one around Alpharetta, its all black 05-09

Yes Six Star is an independent here in Decatur. It seems they are a good shop for keeping a solid running car. I supposed the SoccerMom clientele around here doesn't support a lot of tuning so they don't really go too far beyond a DP/UP. My LGT has over 100k miles and I need it to get up and get me there every morning, so I am not trying to go crazy with mods.

 

benfrancis, I need to look into the stop tech kit. Please let me know how it works for you.

 

I too vouch! I had some work of about $2200 worth done to my 2002 legacy last summer. New aftermarket MLS head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, and essentials for those three to major components. Allpro has great guys there but they over quoted me $2500 or more for something standard not to mention I got some premium parts with SixStar. Six Star and Subaru of Kennesaw is the only places I go.

I know we met at the rays meet a while ago. I notice the golds on your subie. I think I've only seen one other on blue.

Ben, I went to Anthony. He did an nice job on my subie, thanks again for the connect. I should be able to make it out Thursday possibly if not when ever we all meet.

His name is anthony and I think he works for Llumar, I'll try to get the info from work and upload it to here tomorrow. He did a 15% tint on mine w/ ceramic and a lifetime warranty against bubbling, fading, or just looking crappy.

Would a throttle controller help MPGs if you have em set to economy setting. I was considering getting one.

;4714107']i'm in kennesaw by bells ferry. i'd be down to go to rays sometime. the vw meets there are pretty chill and some of those guys love it when you bring new cars up to chill. and im pretty sure the barrett meets got moved to sandy plains in the old big lots parking lot. hh gregg was attracting too much attention because it got so huge.
