  1. Are the dates on the first post the updated ones?  Really trying to talk the wifey in to making the drive for the weekend.  May even be able to talk the son and DIL in to coming if we can drive on Watkins.

Was able to get the driver side actuator, but did have to pull the cluster, AND had to have someone skinnier than me to reach it.

AND put an axle-back on the Ascent...that biotch is louuddd.  Much louder than any of the videos posted, foresee traffic stops in the future.

Are you doing this with the dash out or still in place?

Was trying to accomplish it with the dash in and removing all the other panels.  Will have to deal with the arm rest and the seats this weekend.  Confident I must have unplugged something when taking it out, cause the phone charger I have plugged in isn't getting juice either.

Will have to see how far along I get trying to swap out the three HVAC actuators on Saturday.  Got heat out of the passenger side but cool on the driver side.  Eventually gets a smidge warmer, but not full blown heat.  See if I can fit my fat ass under the steering wheel and get this driver side one.

Welp, got the passenger side two changed out.  Think I bruised a rib leaning against the passenger door sill for so long.  Found that I am too tall and too fat to reach the driver side one no matter how I tried to contort myself.  Buttoned everything back up, and now the damn heated seats won't turn on.  Gotta take the center armrest back out and and see if I unplugged or fouled something up then check the two fuses.  The switches won't even light up 😤

  5. I had to stop using my driving rig for GT7, started driving the Ascent and the wagon like I was doing a time trial and bump drafting.

    My wife:

"Why are you so effing close to this guy?"

    "Jesus, are you gonna brake?"

"Why are the tires squealing going around these turns?"

  6. If Finger Lakes is decided upon, which campground are you guys looking at?  Need to check out the cabins that are pet friendly.  Will have to bring TWO dogs this time around.  It looks like there are 24359087398120 campgrounds around Finger Lakes to choose from.

Like I said before, I know there are houses/cabins/campgrounds at Lake Anna, VA, and Deep Creek Lake, MD.

  7. Is NY decided upon?  There's also Lake Anna, VA, and Deep Creek, MD.  Both have camping, bars, boats, and I'm sure Air BnB.  I know for fact one can rent houses at Deep Creek that will easily accommodate 15-20 people, or multiple houses side by side.  I also know you can rent party boats at Deep Creek, cruise around, then park at docks around the lake and walk right up to the restaurants and bars.

We just went to the fair for carnival food and it was disappointing.  Watching the 4x4 races at the dirt track, however, was not.

  8. Is NY decided upon?  Is there fishing at these lakes that we can partake of?  I think the wagon can make that drive.  JUST TEXT ME SPRANK.  I only check the forum maybe once a month.  Do we have a LegacyGT discord?

  9. Me, the wife, and the puppy should be around some time after breakfast on Saturday.  Actually paid for a good detail today from a guy that does mobile detailing and as soon as he showed up this morn at 9am, it starts monsooning here in Wild and Wonderful.  C'est la vie.

I'm 15 minutes from msprank, so you guys can ping me if anything is needed, and I can stop and grab it.

  10. Gonna try and tackle this over the weekend.  From the parts diagram, we have two drains on the wagons, driver front, and driver rear.  I am confident the driver rear is the culprit, because the water stain on the headliner starts at the rear pillar and moves outward, and I believe the drain tube runs down in/along the pillar to rear wheel well somewheres.  I'll try going through the wheel well first to see if I can find anything then start going at interior panels.  Also watched a youtube of a guy that used Liquid Plumbr to get at a clog, but that scares me.  I'm pretty sure I looked at that thread on the Outback forums.

  11. Anyone had to undergo this endeavor?  Pretty sure the driver side rear drain is clogged and causing some water to leak on the headliner.  Pounding away on the google machine reveals the drain should be in the right rear wheel well (say that five times fast) under the bumper.  I would rather not take off the bumper.  Hoping I can peel away enough interior panels to at least see the tube and jimmy something.

  12. Already replaced the front O2 sensor and the MAF when trying to get the stage 1 Cobb tune to work properly.  Pretty sure the rear O2 sensor just isn't liking the resistor mod.

Even here it is advised to delete this code, but since I can no longer do that with Cobb, was going to try the Romraider approach just to get rid of the code.
