So what your telling me here . Is that the 5MT transmissions in the 01-03 wrx are the same as the ones in a 97 legacy gt.. including the clutch style.. mean push to pull.. trying to do some research... any answers would be appreciated. . And also why is it when people do the wrx swap they swap the tranny also.. is it becasue they dont have the proper components (clutch forks) or is it that the wrx transmissions are better.. becuase I would prefer to keep my longer gear for cruising. .

since your swapping over the wrx sub frame in addition to the engine. would you need the wrx control arms to go on long with them?

bought with 200,870 .original everything and still running strong.just made it through this snow storm in Nyc with eazii..

front gc8s CAs fit the bk.

 

idk about the rears

 

It would have to be from an N/A impreza correct

are we talking about the fronts or rears now?

 

Front Control arms

The sway bar mounts on my BK are at the wrong angle. But all I have to do is use BD mounts and I should be good to go.

 

so have you install them yet , do the sedan mounts fix the sawy bar issues. and also what 5mm spaces for mounting the wheels on the new hubs?

so you would need bigger brake lines they wouldn't work with the ones in the car.
