    Selling my 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Spec B. This is production number #68 of 500, meaning Subaru only made 500 of these Spec B's in 2006.

    The Spec B includes these main features that differentiate it from a regular legacy;

    Brick Red leather interior with doorcards

    Navigation System

    Stronger 5-speed transmission with better gear ratio

    Bilstein Struts

    18 inch Spec B wheels

    Titanium Steel Metallic Paint specific to '06 Spec Bs

     

    This car has a number of tasteful mods and many 2008 STi oem parts. It made 296whp/334wtq on a Mustang Dyno at Innovative tuning. Comes with two maps from Mike at Innovative stored on a V3 Accessport. Has always run Rotella T6 synthetic oil.

    I purchased my 06 Spec B last year in February, and right off the bat... Timing Belt(Gates Racing), Water Pump, Thermostat, cog gears for timing, Timing Cover, Radiator(CSF), Belts(Gates Racing), Radiator Hoses(Samco) and last but not least the turbo had to be replaced! So I chose not to get factory replacement and went with a Tomioca Racing TD05-20g for the same price and more bang for the buck!! 😄 It was well spent 6k when completed.

    I understand the spec.B has bilsteins, but are the springs still the same? Does it sit lower than the GT (assuming they are on the same wheels)?

     

    p.s. picking up 347/500 on Saturday.

     

     

    I'm not certain what types of springs come with it from factory(orginal), but my SpecB has STI Pink springs. It does have an aggressive feel on the road, but smooth ride on long trips.

    ^^I would agree w/spc2125. I paid 16k for mine last year, but Holy Mods Batman!! I could not start a list of the mods this car had. But after new timing belt w/cogs, gears, water pump, thermostat and replacing the damaged factory turbo...100k on the odometer. After a tune it laid 308hp/309wtq. I am very pleased with it! And let me add, the only way I'm getting rid of my Spec B is when I feel my grandson is ready to handle it for himself(which will take another 18yrs), I'll keep this one for awhile...😊

    Another small update :)

     

    Today installed JDM dual climate control kit with dnx890hd, JL XD600 and (2) 12" JL.

    Outcome is AWESOME, except I'm not a big fan of the subs (it had been sitting in my garage for almost a year)...I'm used to w6s.

    But it still sounds great, clean and hard hitting! kind of like the color of subs...matches my car color a bit. lol

     

    Tomorrow Hotchkis front and rear sway bars will be installed. can't wait!! ha ha

    ^^Rant on!! I know what's being put in, so you deserve what you're asking....just saying! I'm still kinda new here and I'm only following this thread on LegacyGT Forums. I don't bother with the Buy/Sell aspect of this Forum. I plan on keeping my Spec B until I either resurrect at Mario Andretti or give it to my grandson when he turns 18yo, so I have 18 years to play with it every weekend...LOL!!!
