  1. So I've got the BNR 16G installed with an Invidia Up, Down, and CBE. We had some fitment issues with stock TMIC, but got it working, although it was not 100% perfect.

Fast forward a 150 miles and the stock TMIC blew a corner, so after reading on here and others, I ordered the AVO TMIC, as it was supposed to have good fitment. Problem is that the bolts are now a 1/2 inch off.

    Any suggestions?

  2. I may not be buying the Superleggeras after all. One wheel looks to be badly curbed. Doesn't appear to be any bends, but about 1/9th of the outer lip is shaved down a bit. Not sure the wheels are even worth $400.

Am I correct that the main advantage of the OZ Racing wheels is the weight advantage?

Since I am not overly concerned about weight, I feel it's better to get a wheel that is not damaged over getting the OZ Wheels.

  3. Well unfortunately, I'm not in the market for a set of Rays, Volks, Advan, Works, etc.... I have to go with what the old budget can afford. They look nice on the digital image of what I am looking at and I don't want to look like all the other wheels out there. One thing I have learned in all of my years is that when it comes to wheels, everyone has an opinion, but the only one that really matters is the drivers. :)

I'll keep looking until I find that wheel that speaks to me.

  4. Need to finalize my turbo selection. Sure the answers are out there somewhere, but haven't had luck finding them, so a couple of questions:

My Car: 05 LGT 5MT - Catless Up, Catted DP, after market CBE, stock intake box with performance filter, Walbro 255LPH, OEM injectors, EBCS, stock TMIC.

Car is a daily driver, looking for spirited drive, will not be doing track days and no drag strips.

    1) BNR EVO III 16G compared to a 16G XT. What are the differences?

    2) BNR 18G v BNR HTA68 (I understand stock injectors need upgraded). Will the EBCS and a pro-tune be enough to off set the spool lag, or better to stay 16G, for the type of driving experience I'm looking for.

Thanks, hopefully Bryan from BNR can weigh in with his vast experience. I've read a lot of good things regarding the quality and dependability of the BNR Turbos.

  5. I don't even have any of those supposed Top Tier retailers here where I live except for maybe Shell. I guess BP, Exxon, Marathon, Sunoco, and Speedway are not good enough. It seems crazy that some of the largest gas retailers have only average gas. I guess I will have to look for a Shell station that is on my route. BTW, how long has this Top Tier been testing gas, and is it a regional thing? I have only seen 1 of these stations in Columbus, Ohio. As I look at it a little closer, I think that some of the names may be parent company i.e. Conoco Sunoco (I think anyway :) ) Anyone know what stations these companies run under?
  6. I have put 1500 mi on mine and have not noticed any thing. Granted, I just picked mine up on 07/01/05, so it may be the fact that my car is a newer build. Also, what do you guys consider "Top Tier"? I know that in Ohio fuel Octane has to be regulated by the (R+M)/2 method (at least I think that is what it is). I know that some stations may not have the cleaners or other additives, but isn't 93 octane, 93 octane, or am I missing something?
