  1. ^ Very interesting. What is your typical driving enviroment? Does the 100% throttle on the non-stock map make a difference in engine feel?

my driving environment is southern california:lol: mostly freeway... and i have to put it to the floor because boost and wastegate duty cycles dont kick in until >%80 go pedal... so for me the half-throttle/full throttle debate is moot... half throttle doesnt do anything so WOT feels good to me:icon_mrgr

  2. oh ya... couple of pics...

here is the stock throttle map:

and here is the throttle map im using.... and when i say lazy... its lazy.... but it wakes up when i lay into it.... i have to put the pedal to the floor, none of this half-pedal stuff :D

and once again because of this this throttle blade moves much less and saves fuel by not dumping it in for throttle tip-in....

  3. Got our second LGT owner idicating 30+mpg.

    bumping again.

instead of 21-24mpg my realtime lingers around 28-32+ mpg...

:D mind you this following pic is after a throttle actuator tweak and 40+ miles of highway driving....

    fuel tip in enrichment FTL!!!111

  4. yea they do, thats how i drained the battery on the car the first day i got it...at the dealer's lot.

went home and disabled the DRL an hour later. i might try to see if i can get the foglights to act as DRLs now just for safety's sake

you sure you didnt leave the parking switch on???:icon_conf

  5. techically, according to US safetey standards - cars are reqeired to have an amber reflector on the front side of the car, that reflects light even when the bulb is turned off... so clear bulbs that blink orange are only legal if you also have an orange reflector on the side of the car. (the new VW lineup is like this)

FOr what it's worth though, i had my Virginia state inspection today - and the car passed with cleared and blacked out headlights, no questions asked -- so unless you live in a really strict area you should be okay.

what putting the reflector back in, but using some chrome tape(or black tape for the darked lights) to make it look smaller or alter the design of it... i thought about cutting but that may be extreme...

  6. Did your signal get any louder? I put mine in backwards like you, but I'm trying to figure out of its worth ripping apart my car again. My XM setup is reallllly quiet, and its been bugging me for awhile. :)

i still i have no idea if its backwards or not  ... i just fiddled around with it comparing every which way to plug it in.... and it sounds the same just no ticking.....
