Awesome! (Rated this thread 5 stars yo!)

i have pictures of mb weapons in bronze on my silver GT wagon.
they are too big to post and i don't have photoshop, so if you want to see what it looks like, then just PM me.
Guys, ya don't need photochop to resize! There are many free tools/programs out there that can do it for you, and it's a basic image operation.
Here's one if you got Windows XP: Image Resizer Powertoy

Here's some more: (note, I have not used these!)

Defect is a cumbersome word to apply to an engineering failure. Subaru could have designed the transmission in such a way as to make this not occur. Perhaps it would have been more expensive, complicated or difficult to warranty - but the issue could be eliminated.
+10 trillion
It's NOT normal when it takes several attempts to shift into a gear... defect or not.
-
Did Subaru decide to spend the extra .17 and weld a piece of metal onto the fuel lid to hold the gas cap when filling up?
No need... take a look here
Too bad they didn't fix the reverse gear. Doh!

Good info! http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/498/hail1mx.gif
BTW I believe the chrome rocker panel trim is still optional. Although the price has dropped signicantly (now lists at $129).
Good to know they've fixed the reverse gear annoyance and the suspension clunking...

Need help, when i plug the two test plugs together i don't get the flashing check engine light. The fans run thru their cycle but no check engine light. Do i proceed to reflashing? I looked everywhere for a second set of test connector but with no luck. Need quick help.

COBB: Update the freakin' manual already!

I was initially against disabling the DRL's, but after seeing my friend driving home form work behind me (red LGT sedan) and how annoying the drl's are, coupled with the new bulbs I put in, I yanked that connector out after work tonight! Thanks DK!
Not to get back into the safety/freedom argument again... but I think that's the point with DRL's. They're supposed to be annoying so that they're more noticeable!

+1 on the sticky!
Great post, Brady!

Install it! Otherwise all your time spent "working" will actually be spent thinking about that new AP sitting there just waiting to be installed

Did a quick search and didn't find a result, so I figured this is a good place to put a tiny piece 'o info:
The stock cd player does read burned audio CD-RW (CDRW) disks, in addition to CD-Rs (CDR).

Makes sense to me.. but let me rephrase your question in software terms - maybe that'll be easier:
Let's say a stock car comes with ECU version 1.0.
Accessport comes with a nice version 2.0.
You flash ecu to AP 2.0, the accessport saves the orig ecu version 1.0 to it's memory (if it does that)
You're about to take the car back to the dealer, you flash it back to ecu version 1.0. That version still remains in the AP as well (?)
Dealer takes car, flashes to a new factory 1.1 version.
You take the car back, now you flash it to AP 2.0. The question then becomes, which version will get saved - factory ecu 1.0 or 1.1?
