Curious what the 06 spec b's have been selling for lately. I have my stock spec b for sale with 70k and two sets of rims, two sets of summer tires and one set of blizzak's. Just curious what I should be pricing it at.
Maybe some new b owners can chime in with what they paid.

And I purchased it!
Great car so far, driving really well. Innovative Tuning will be fixing up a few small issues, and tuning some new maps for me. I'd like to go a bit more conservative for the tune, focus on drivability and reliability. Looking to have an MPG map, daily fun map, and reasonable performance map.
Now, to find a way to replace the rear-driver outer door handle without spending $300...
Nice purchase! About the door handle, I had a buddy's shop replace mine for about 100 bucks using oem handle. Keep looking $300 is ridiculous

Yeah I've talked to him a decent bit. He hasn't had the car long. It was his cousins. And prior to that who knows. It's all good. And I was curious to see if there was any way to verify it being 002/500. Because I did read an article that a magazine used that one for their review of spec B's.
Number plate by the shifter would be a good start of verifying it

To the contrary, this steering wheel is definitely original to this car, precisely the same leather & dye as the seats. It is well worn & discolored from years of busy, sweaty hands. Striking once I got it cleaned (in the photo).
I was talking about the red leather on the wheel not being oem. The steering wheel itself is stock. That red leather on the wheel didn't come with spec b's but must have been added later. Any good upholster shop could add that and try to color match. I guess maybe it's the angle but that looks a few shades brighter than the oem brick leather.

Here's a photo of mine, #271. Anyone know where I can find floor mats with the red piping?
Oh nice! Yeah that's definitely not oem.
-
Mine (#271) has red leather on both sides of the steering wheel. Wasn't that common to all of them originally?
I've only seen two in person and neither have what your talking about. I'd like to see a pic of yours.

Wow all those stock miles and no talk of rebuild or head issues. Give me some hope! lol

Checking in again... 192k. So far the only basic maintenance.
Aren't you just a 2.5i?
-
Interested to see your results. If you really want to prove your results in here you should really get it on the dyno before and after install. I'm curious to know how much the electric sc heats up the intake air if at all.

Unless your 30 pages behind on updating the registry you must have missed mine. I own 244 and it's located in Bismarck ND.

Glad you like it. I am working on a rattle stopper that includes an integrated printed tension bar to adjust for dash expansion due to thermal load.
The v1 drs is 5$ shipped btw
How much will the 2nd version cost? and when will they be available? I may just pick up one of the v1's.

#71 is in western Maryland and forsale on CL
Do you have a link or know how much their asking?

I can't believe it but I actually parked next to a 06 spec b in town the other day. Unfortunately the guy was leaving just as I was pulling up, but it was definitely the real deal. I live in a small city so this is pretty mind blowing. SO I guess there's 3 known 06 spec b's in north dakota but only two on the registry.

Anyone have a spare spec B emblem they'd be willing to sell? PM me

OEM turbo(3k OCI dino) with 161k miles since brand new.

Good to know, Thanks you two!
-
Curious, is there a updated list somewhere? It doesn't look like anyone's been adding the unregistered b's.
-
I appreciate the link! I'll have to try searching that way next time.
Thanks again!

Wow I'm so glad to find this post! I've only owned my car for less than a month now but this dash rattle has been driving me nuts.
So I keep reading about these vacation pics, but I have no idea where to look for them. Anyone have a link?
BTW why are they called vacation pics?

I really appreciate the write up! I really like the climate control in these cars, but it did take awhile to get used to.

I just bought my 06 spec b last night in excellent condition with 50k on her. It's # 244 of 500 ( I see it's never been registered on here) The car's located in Bismarck ND and has been for the last seven years. I have already fallen in love with this car and look forward to many years of ownership.
