  1. I will have to try that cleaner on my engine bay.

So lets start a list of people who want to meet at c470 and broadway at the AMC parking lot:

    1) collegemt

    2) tommypenguin

    3) rockymtngt

    4)

    5)

    6)

    Add your name

Gonna try to make it for once...:spin::p

  2. I'm actually going to Aspen for the first time...It's my gf's bday so I rented a cabin in Glenwood Springs. Should be cool. I got the Superpass last year and then only went up like twice!

So this year I bought the 4 day pass for A basin and Keystione. I've gone up twice so far. I am getting LASIK on my right eye next week (redone) so I won't be skiing for about a month. I should at least be able to get up there 2 more times though!

  3. I had my first Cohiba at my buddies wedding (He is dtmenace on here!) So good!...To my amateur/untrained tastes at least.

Establishments classified as "Cigar Lounges" get around the non smoking laws out here. This is how you can still find people smoking at Shotgun Willies (Um, so I've heard, haha) They have to sell a certain about of tobacco each year and have humidors on site to qualify as a cigar lounge...I read it in a newspaper somewhere I think...:iam:

One of these days I will make it to one of the GTG'ers!

  4. Got my Hog on today during my lunch hour! I only did my driver's side can to see how it would sound. Frikin love it! (Would that be considered Hog stage II x .5?)

...It took about 30 minutes and cost me about 6 bucks (8 washers and a can of liquid wrench- penetrating formula)

The boxer "burble" at idle sounds perfect!!...though I can't really hear any difference at all while I'm driving. I'll have to do the passenger side can tomorrow. hehe

This will definitely hold me over until I go stageII...Thanks 'Meat!

  5. I liked the outback being higher for going over dips.

Sign me up! ...Frikin roads out here have all gone to shit over the last 2 winters and my springs/18's are helping the matter. Anyone driven on c470 lately? It's gawddamn ridiculous!:spin:

Sorry for the OT rant

  6. Great post Brady...I wish this was around when I 1st got the car...

As for me, I went in this order:

    Seatbelt chime (free!)

    De-badge the a$$ (also free)

    DRL disable (free again)

    Tint (~200)

    Ion springs (~400)

    summer tires & wheels (18's) & snow tires (~1600)

Flat panel airfilter (AVO)/intake silencer removal (~60)

    Jazzy Ipod mod (~50)

    Xtec 4300k HID's (~350)

    Cobb AP (~650)

    Kartboy SS/shifter bushings (~125)

    Hawk HPS brake pads (~170)

    coming soon:

    full exhaust

I SHOULD be done with it after the exhaust is finished... hehe

edit: ok ok maybe some sways and a TMIC but that's IT! hehe

  7. How are you getting your audio signal from your iPod? Are you simply going off the headphone jack (couldn't tell from your photo). The line-out audio from the dock connector on the bottom is of higher quality and higher level and is the source you really should be using. The iTrip, IIRC, get's it's audio from the headphone jack.

    Ken

Yup the signal is just going out through the headphone jack. I may have to pick up a dock connector...Thanks for the heads up!

  8. Okay so I took the day and installed my Jazzy board! I love it! The sound is crisp and clear, WAYY better than my iTrip. The only thing I noticed is that there is some loss in volume output. It still plays LOUD when you want it too, but it is less loud at a specific volume (20 for example) than it used to be.

The install was a little nerve racking because I was worried about eff'n something up or scratching the dash. It took about 2 hours total. It would have taken about a half hour less if I hadn't stuffed the connection for the cigarette lighter up behind the radio where I coundn't reach it the first time :icon_frow

Here is a crappy pic of my iPod in its new home. I basically ran the connection out from under the passenger side of the center console. Not the cleanest install but super practical for my purposes.

BTW I DID disconnect my battery before starting the process. Better to be safe with stuff like this.

    Thanks Jazzy!!
