  1. Thanks, no need to apologize (to me) for anything when your trying to help!

I went to Fl4tfest last year for the first time and it was pretty fun.

Thanks for the heads up on the Madison Subaru Club and the 608 Subies!

Do you have a Subie at all anymore or go to any of the meet ups?

I don't have too much time for the meets anymore but I do usually hit up Fl4tFest. I have an Ascent which is a great baby hauler. But all of my buddies still own subies. So I'm still not totally out.

  2. I'm in Madison, but my LGT is sitting in Waukesha at my parents house. I will be going out this weekend to pull the engine and start the build. I was hoping not to do the build for a couple years, but that's the way chasing the boost goes.

There really should be a Legacy/LGT Midwest or Wi meet... maybe there is and I just don't know about it.

I don't own my LGT anymore but I'm also in the Madison Area. The Madison Subaru Club does meet ups during the summer and there is Fl4tFest as well. I apologise is you're already aware of both.

    There's also a small group 608 subies.

  3. I'm so confused. I have an 08 spec b with serious saggy ass. Seems like the only fix for that is spacers. Even with new lowering coils? I would like to add a rear sway, so I would use 2 spacers. I also want to update the coilovers all the at around. I found some BC racing BR coilovers that say they are good for the spec b and fully adjustable. I only want the front to look like the back. So a 1" drop, and a little stiffer suspension. I want the car to stick to the road. I know tires are important there. But with bad suspension, the best tires don't matter. The tein street basis are way less expensive, but I can't find lowering info on either of them, or stiffness on the BC racing. And how does the spec b top hat affect aftermarket? They say top hat is included, so I should be good to go? Sorry for the rookie questions. The more I read, the more I get confused. Being new to turbo motors is taking up more brain space than I have at the moment.

Thanks for any help. Really appreciate it.

I have a friend currently on BC BR coils on his Legacy. He said it's a horrible daily driver. That being said. If you buy the right coilover setup for your exact car you should have no problems with fitment.

  4. Been having issues on and off but it has started happening a bit more frequently now. I'm third owner and I emailed SOA if they would good will the issue but the rep told me to schedule it to be looked at when I schedule my brake line recall work and that they cannot guarantee a goodwill gesture. I don't want to pay out of pocket to diagnose an issue that we know is prevalent in our vehicles...
