A 4 year build and she's finally complete.
I'd love to see this in person, but from the pictures, this is THE nicest modded Legacy wagon I've ever seen. By FAR. I love everything you did. Excellent job!
I need to really step my game up now. Damn.

F31, I read your whole thread. Really awesome. Like frank_ster, you took your Legacy to the next level.
Thanks!

I have an LS on an engine stand in my garage if you need any bolt pattern measurements. I'll also be pulling an LS1/T56 combo out of one of my cars in a few days if you want overall dimensions of the engine and trans.
In for pictures!

I have some new brakes... can you see them peeking out from behind the wheels?

And 4+ years since the thread was posted and the only person in the world that decided to put a domestic motor in a legacy
I think you're kidding but just in case you're not, I've seen 4 other Legacys with domestic swaps. Mine, a 4th gen in the Middle East, a second gen with a carbureted 350 and a forum member with an iron block LS swap now in progress.
Besides Legacys, I've also seen a WRX drift car with an LS, two WRX street cars with LS swaps and a BRZ with an LS.
OP, congrats on all your hard work and seeing it through til completion!

Such a cool picture!

thought I'd throw a picture out there.
Love it!

You are not taking advantage of the AWD the car has to offer with your wheel and tire setup. Subaru's should be made to handle, not be low and non-functional.
You're gonna hate my car ....

I just read this whole thread beginning to end and this is not the conclusion I was expecting.
I really hope it all works out for you. You deserve a break at this point!

Perfect! Do you have any pictures of what it's bolted to?
