Can you post pictures of what you had to trim?

Hoping to get some help diagnosing an issue I have on my 2.5i 5spd. About a week ago my car developed a strange vibration coming from the rear. The strange part is it only happens under certain conditions. From a complete stop, up hill, while the car is still cold from sitting overnight or all day.

 

My neighborhood has a red light at the bottom of a hill. From a complete stop, shifting into first, pressing and gas while lifting off the clutch. This noise coming from the rear almost sounds like something to do with the load on the drivetrain, however, once the car has warmed up it won't do it. Video linked below. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

The wheel wells are so small on these BPs. I had to do some trimming to fit the 225/60s. Might split the difference and go with 215/65s.

Any rubbing? I wanted to go with the 225/65 KO2s but was concerned about rubbing in the front. I settled on 225/60s for the time being.

 

My 08' 2.5i 5spd. Put the lift on back in September but just got around to adding the new wheels and larger tires.

Nice. I'm looking to go with the Cooper AT3 for my next tire. How do you like 'em?

If any fellow lifted OB owners are looking, I'm selling brand new 215/70/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires and 16x7 Cragar soft 8 wheels. Wheels and tires only have 40 miles on them. Shoot me a PM if interested.

I completely agree. It was well worth the price of admission and I have no plans to ever take it off.

Any noticeable improvement with the Perrin lockdown installed? I was looking to do the same mod but wasn't sure if it was worth the price.

Most roof racks are kind of model specific though aren't they? The fit kits only work on certain vehicles.

 

I would have listed it in the 05-09 classifieds since that is what you drive.

 

Wagons with the raised rails use parts that are compatible with any car equipped with rails as well. If it was Landing Pads that are model specific, then yes, it'd be easier to narrow down but I understand what your saying.

False. It states exactly why--post deleted because you don't have an actual FS thread. Create a FS thread, post link to it here in the local section. Include pictures in your FS thread that are attached to the site.

 

I stand corrected. I did see that after I posted. I'm just not sure where to post for something like a roof rack. IMO we need a 'miscellaneous' FS forum or something like that from an item that isn't model specific.
