Ok, so now I'm not so sure which one of mine is functioning the way it should. This is the one I thought might be deffective, but it seems to operate like the video amidroc posted.
This is the one I thought was maybe normal. I figured it was ok that it required a significant amount of force to compress it. But it requires much less force to extended it. To compress it I have almost my complete body weight on it. Could something have happened when I installed it in the strut housing?

I contacted them already and they said they have 17 units available, thank God! They just didn't seem to want to say for sure this was defective only telling me I can submit it for a warranty claim if I'd like. I would be pretty pissed if they deny this based on it being used on a Legacy, when all I've done is remove it from the box. Although they do require a copy of the vehicle registration with the warranty submission. Worth a shot I guess.

I'm finally getting around to installing my Konis I bought last year. One of my front struts requires a lot of force to move the piston and the other one moves quite easily. I can also at points hear air bubbling and I hear the oil sloshing when I shake the strut of the one that moves easily. I made sure the adjustment on both are set to the softest. This has got to be a defective strut right? What amount of force should be required to move the piston?

I run a hybrid valve with about 30-40% venting. I get the blow off sound with no ill effects.

Just make sure you have everything in these 2 diagrams.
Front. (strut>spring>bumpstop>dustcover>upperseat>spacer>tophat)
Rear. (shock>spring>bumpstop>dustcover>isolator>tophat)
Is it absolutely necessary to replace everything in these diagrams? I put it all in my cart and its about $450! Would it be worthwhile to take mine apart, inspect, and replace only things that are necessary. I can afford downtime since I have a DD.
I have the Koni inserts with Eibach springs and going to reuse my stock strut mounts.

...I've been looking at Tim's Turbos in Annadale.
I'll be interested to hear how it goes if you have him do it.

I was planning on waiting a little bit longer to do the suspension, but now I have 4 Konis and a 22mm RSB with end links on their way. Konis getting paired with the Eibachs I have sitting on the shelf.

I used this for my phone on my previous car and liked it a lot. Very solid and a clean look. I need to get this for my Legacy to mount my phone on again.

As far as my AP, I just use the windshield suction in the bottom left corner. It tucks in that corner nicely and the cable it routed easily down to the OBDII port. It stays out of my direct line of sight, but I can keep and eye on it easily.

Nameless is now advertising the TBE for our cars. You can select several different options when pricing them out. Things can get pretty expensive right quick, though.

They've also listed their BPV for our cars as well:

Interesting that the downpipe shown is not DWG design.

Haha those are the the type of issues you wanna have. I also need to add that my stock charge pipe was caved in at the bov connection and at another spot. If anyone is planning on running it with the DP I'd highly advise against it
I'm glad I grabbed the racer-x charge pipe:)

Those are some sexy curves

Thanks for the info. Will I need to get a protune with this BPV or no? If not, I think the following is what I'll do:
Upgrade Round 1: Whiteline 20mm RSB, Cobb AP stage 1, Turbosmart Kompact BPV
Upgrade Round 2: Invidia DP, Borla Catback, cobb stage 2
Upgrade Round 3: Aftermarket clutch, maybe more suspension upgrades
Forget the the Invidia DP, get in on the Nameless DWG DP group buy.

They are rare... only 227 '12's made and DIP was a new colour. We may not ever know for sure, but my guess on previous year statistics there were only 30-50 made. It's fun to be special.
That's crazy, only 227 '12 GTs were made! I can't understand why this car is not more popular. That's ok, I like cars that not everybody else has.

...yup, odds are good that was probably me. I'm on 66 daily and live right off of Heathcote. Feel free to shoot me a wave or something next time you see me around
Will do.

I too live in DC area. I have been dreaming of LGT for awhile. I think the Indigo Pearl is a great color. Can only get them in '12, so I'm guessing they're rare. Love the pics.
Syndicate, I think I may have seen you the other day. I swear there was a Indigo Pearl GT I saw on Heathcote blvd coming off 66 maybe a week or two ago. It makes me happy to know one is nearby!
