Brought my wagon back home on wedneday, had some fun with it tonight, got flexed on by a Honda kid with his b18 swapped hatchback....I had to... and I'm n/a. He was done off the line and to 4th gear. Can't believe the pnp'ed 2.2 heads breathe that good now.

S2baru good size on the wheels, got a pretty tight stretch on those tires :0, my wheels will poke a little like that but I'm going with 215's and a little stretch. I like a bit more meat on the side walls. Will be the first time for me stretching tires. Are you going to track that car?

Good god that looks menacing.

Pulled three codes today on my ls wagon
22-knock sensor
33-vehicle speed sensor
35-canister purge solenoid.
Would anyone be able to tell me where I could find the vss that goes into the passenger side of the tranny, I looked on the web but I only see the whole part that plugs into the speedo which doesn't work. When I removed it from the trans and popped the clip off a piece of the cable and the reed fell out so I'm assuming that is the part I need only thing is that its a separable piece and I'm hoping I can just purchase that part so I don't have to remove the cluster.

Lol, ill tell you my color though, mine is silver right now but I'm going to spray a white toner and I'm going battleship heat, going to widebody it so I can fit 17x9's -30's flush. I'm with you on the excitement level, the plus is that work at a vw tuning shop and I'm going to rip all of them a new one, they always screwing with me because I like Japanese wagons.
-
Awesome dude, what color you going with..I'm at that stage with my little build too.

After 9 months of tinkering and rebuilding my motor she breathes..port and blend workson the 2.2 and I have pretty good flow through those heads finally..it pulls good power drop off is at around 5k and sounds super clean.

Wagon sticker like that is what I need. Mine fried last November but 6k and still running like a champ.

Nice, check out the airlift v2 kit..since they are all macpherson struts it would be stupid simple to install on these cars. My homie here is repping the air lift line and he got a DIY kit with the management, tank and compressor for 2g's. Is pricey but damn awesome setup.

Wow, 225's..what kind of tires are they?
Racelands aren't bad after they settle, just don't last very long. Been installing those on vw's a lot lately. Can count on them lasting a few years if your easy on them, but sh*t $500 isn't that bad.

Looks so good with those wheels! Congrats!
It does, but it needs an aggressive stance. For sure.

Subarus should be made as per the owners wishes. I'm probably going to bag mine and put some 19's for daily mobbing around town. My other wagon is for fun and is super functional for getting in trouble and wowing people as I corner like a miata.

With a grenade launcher. Awesome!

The shifter from the aero x looks a little smaller..it does have a crisp shift but kind of hard to find neutral. Put my badges on the ashtray inside too, don't like many stickers and on the outside of the car, five badges fit perfect on the tray and doesn't look bad or cheap either.

I like spoilers on the sedans too, the bd style trunk wing would probably look really good on the ss too. I think they are a classy looking spoiler pretty subtle also.

Got my trans back into place after a cleaning and spliced in another oem radio and speaker harness
after some punk ripped my radio out..put the center console and everything back together as well. Got a motor stand and getting ready to put my motor back together finally in hopes of driving itbthe auto x season opening in march here. Still have to replace the stem seals and put valves in a head, but secured all my gaskets seals and fluids this weekend.

Yeah, the wagons look so much better with the wings..looking for one for my third gen but they were more of an add on, I think they only came stock on the ll bean or the limited ob. Not to mention those wings seem to help with dust and crap that gets all over the hatch from lack of air.
-
No dice on that wing brotha, its gone....I half expected it to be .
-
^Justin are you looking for an outback wing or like a zero sports rarity? Asking because there is a black 98 outback limited with one here at a u-pull, I could probably pick up for like $50. I won't have a chance to get back out there until Saturday though.

Thanks man, a little bit more sanding and they will be mirrors.

Took all my stuff out of cryo-treat and blend and polished the intake and exhaust ports on the heads of the 22e. Right now I'm removing a little bit of casting from the intake runner exits going to polish those with an 80 grit flapper on my die grinder. Can't believe how uneven the castings are going into the heads. Also polished my valve covers, they look mighty blingy..don't know if i like it yet. Looking for a 25d block to finish all this work off hopefully will be able to finish in April.
What'd you do to your FIRST Gen. Subaru today?
