I've started installing a new stereo in my 05 LGT following the thread here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-dual-hvac-double-din-jdm-kit-thread-113589.html

 

Here's where I'm at. After getting the harnesses at ae64.com (run by member SVXdc here) and soldering them appropriately/heatshrinking them, it's really a fast install. Only took like 5 minutes to get the trim pulled and the old radio out, then a few more minutes when I had to plug it back in to eject the 5 cds that were still in it

Thanks! I've got a while before I dive into that type of a project, but I appreciate the offer and I'm subbed to the thread so I may follow up later when I get around to it. Got a bunch of other projects to clear off my plate first though.

Very interested in the front end swap; I'd be interested to see what all work goes into that and someday attempt the same.
