  1. It worked! Thanx again m sprank. And it's an 07 wrx was just using this as a reference, I still have the lgt running strong tho. I saw a few codes on your list that didn't show up on the accesstuner, and a few that showed up that wernt on your list such as p2442, p2443 I'm guessing are also related to the air pump? I just deleted the ones that were on the list for now, we'll see if any come back, I only had 4 or 5 codes before erasing them.
  2. Thats the PCV to inlet tube connector. If you want to delete it (PCV) Cut off the white portion that is plugged into the gray connector and then plug it back in. Thats all you need. You can cap the fitting on the inlet tube and run the "PCV" to your AOS.

Wow I didn't know it was that big of deal. It has an aftermarket inlet, which I noticed the bpv recirc hose is capped because of a cheap ebay bov installed. I bought an oem bypass, guess I need to find a recirc hose.

I'm just trying to put the car back to stock, expect the air pump. Isn't pcv important? So if I wanted to keep the pcv I would only need to plug it back in the inlet? Maybe the inlet didn't have a port for it? The only codes I have is for "secondary air injection"

Thanx for the replies everyone, not trying to thread jack, just need some help putting my car back together. I have the block off plates on order, and will be pulling turbo and all this weekend to do air pump/uppipe so hopefully I can get it all done while I'm in there

  3. Both my banjo bolt filters were dirty... not completely clogged, but very dirty. Getting rid of them solves one problem the filtered unit takes care of.

So is there really 2 banjo filters on an 05 lgt? I was told by Bryan personally that there was only one. I had asked him about installing the fp inline filter, and I mentioned something about a second banjo filter, and he said he didn't know what I was talking about...

  4.

Thanx for the link, I don't know where I saw them going for that or why they would be more than msrp. I think the one I had in the past was used around 100 bucks, anyway I got my vagcom working again and hopefully be able to finish the tune.

  5. They have a rebate form on their website that lists the type of injector that they take (year, type) and how much they'll give you for them.

$40 rebate for each injector not bad.. I think I can finally get everything I need to finish my setup. What about a wideband o2, is that really necessary for new injectors? I'm really lost on the wideband not sure what I need, anyone have a link to a good cheap one that would suffice?

  6. Yea system restore isn't working. I wonder if something is wrong with the vagcom. Or what else it could be?? Why would rr just stop working and the other 2 programs fine?

It's really a miracle I got the vagcom working in the first place, I had tried everything and about the time I had gave up on it and bought a tactrix, it just suddenly started working after a windows update. So I sent the tactrix back trying to save money, now they're like $240

  7. Hello again, I'm working on my stage 3 tune now and my romraider logger stopped working. Ecuflash and learningview both work fine but rr shows unable to send ecu init-check cable... Only thing I can think of is some updates my computer went through recently which is how I got the vagcom magically working was after a windows update. I have used the crap out if it the past 6 months and did my stage 2 tune with it flawlessly, any ideas how to get it working again? Thanx
  8. Never acted up with maf unplugged... I think it runs a basic map when it's unplugged since it has no idea how much air is coming in, just guesses how much fuel to give it(least that's my understanding) I don't know how relevant that is to the gas pedal but it works to get the pedal working again..

Anyway I cleaned the connections again on the pedal and throttle body, and plugged maf back up, and havnt seen the code in a couple days. I feel like everything is just a temporary fix, and I'm not certain buying a new pedal would fix it either.

  9. I understand restarting a few times but it has gotten so bad recently that it doesn't ever go off.. Only way I can drive is to unplug the maf which would run everything at a preset level right? I don't think the maf is bad, it's just the only way I can drive now is by unplugging it..

I found a pedal assembly at the junkyard for $45 but don't wanna fix something if it ain't broke. Do you know if the nonturbo legacy has the same pedal assembly?

  10. I've been having this code off and on for a couple months now, and everytime I get it the gas pedal is unresponsive of course, and the only way I've found to make it work is by unplugging the maf. Then I plug it back up a day or so later and it will be fine for awhile but it's gotten worse recently.. What are you guys doing on the road to get the pedal working? I understand cleaning the connections but can't exactly do that on the highway. Also does maf have anything to do with the problem? I wonder if it could be bad...
  11. Plz help I just put new vacuum lines on the wastegate and the one next to it and I'm getting hardly any boost. Cyro informed me that I can't change the lines with the stock boost control system but there is no way i can get the factory lines on the new turbo.. Do I need a new boost control solenoid and would an upgraded one make more boost than stock? Sorry for newbie questions I'm just trying to get the bugs worked out before the tune
