Title: Legacy GT Wagon project car
Lien: No
Location: Royal Oak, MI
VIN: 4S3BP676056357328
Seller's email address: nikolay.livshiz@gmail.com
Asking Price: $2500 OBO
Description:
I am selling a fantastic chassis (no engine or transmission) for a legacy gt build. This car has been stripped down and undercoated. No rust. Underbody is spotless and looks brand new (refer to photos).
During the chassis prep, new bolts and clips were used. New gas tank installed and complete new brake lines front to rear. Interior door panels, seats, center console have been replaced with excellent conditions ones.
Chassis comes with coilovers (not in great condition), stock legacy gt wheels, a car cover, miscellaneous parts, and an additional set of doors.
I decided to go another route and want to sell this to someone that will make it into something awesome.
Asking $2500 OBO.
Thank you for looking.

I dont think I have any picture of the journals. But the block just came back from the machine shop. They cleaned and inspected the block, polished the crank shaft. They also checked the journal dimensions and they were all within spec for stock bearings.
This engine I purchased from someone else a while back because it has less miles on it. I removed my original engine because of a head gasket failure. And since the engine was out, I figured I would upgrade. I believe this engine was removed because of a turbo failure. The previous owner was extra cautious and decided to replace the engine as well.

Thanks for the update. No worries.
Let me know what you decide on.
Thanks for the update. I am planning on contracting a machine shop today or tomorrow to get some measurements on my block. My only reservation is I’m considering an H6 swap.

Sorry for all the messages, I looked into it a bit more. Based on an assumed deck clearance of 0.3mm and gasket thickness of .6mm, and including the dish volume of 19.3cc, the compression ratios come out to the 8.5 and 9.1 with their respective combustion chamber volumes.

Here is a link to the spec sheet

They are the second from the top.

No worries. I believe it depends on which cylinder heads you intend to use, B25 that came on the 05 LGT or D25 in later models.
For B25, the combustion chamber is 56CC and the compression ratio is 8.5:1
For D25, the combustion chamber is 50CC and the compression ratio is 9.1:1
Just in case I would recommend calling Mahle performance customer service, They are usually pretty good at responding to these kinds of questions. They answered mine when I called.
Thanks man. I do have one question and you can save me a bunch of reading. Aside from being oversized (99.75mm versus the OE 99.5 bore) are these stock compression ratio for an LGT?I looked up the part number and the spec sheet says these are +22cc.
Thanks.

Sounds good. Let me know if you need any additional information.
Interested. I need to get some measurements done on my case before I commit to anything, but I'll be in touch. -

Thanks for the feedback. The timing belt has not been replaced.
Thanks for offering to log some data. I won't be able to make it out to Wixom for a few weeks. But when I can, I'll make sure to reach out.
Also the car is now in storage in my garage. The registration was transferred to another vehicle a few weeks ago.
I'll bump it and keep a look out for an enthusiast that will appreciate her.

Thanks. Shes a runner.
