  1. Sweet thread! Just wondering what the philosophy behind putting vaccuum values in the target boost table is. I actually just filled my first column in this table to -.5 to try to cure my stumble, but I also read somewhere that the car is essentially running 100% duty cycle untill it reaches the spring pressure anyway...

Instead of messing with O2 sensor scaling you should check out the CL fueling comp (load) tables. You can adjust the fueling targets to whatever you want depending on revs and load...

  2. Haha yeah I'm pretty particular about my gas stations too. I think they make simple test kits who his basically just a test tube that has a fill line and % graduations. You fill it up and let it sit and the ethanol will seperate from the gasoline so you can determine percentages. I know this works for e85, but I would assume it would work for normal gas too.
  3. I noticed that you're into tuning for mpg's... Have you ever tried messing with the CL load compensation table? You can find the load and rpm that you cruise at most often and set the additive in those cells to negative so the car will actually run slightly leaner and theoretically save gas. The previous owner of my car had it tuned this way and I have run 15.5 AFRs on the highway with no noticeable issues... Might be a tad risky with all of the avcs advance you are running but if you can monitor your egts it might be worth a shot... Just food for thought!
  4. Sorry thats what I meant by rear differential member. Since the newer STI/WRX is based on the Legacy, I was wondering if I could get a used one instead of a new spec b one....Both are aluminum and both are supporting an R180.

I'm having a friend measure the distance between the mount on his 13 WRX to see if its the same size as mine. Since I'm on a budget I'd much rather spend $30 on a used STI one rather than $130 on a new spec b mount since its a non-essential part. Thoughts?

  5. Does anyone have a spec.B shifter they can measure for me? I just bought a '10 STi shifter and wanted to confirm that the shifter stays/rods are the same length and are indeed compatible with our cars.

edit: ^^KC you forgot the $400 DCCD controller too ;)
