  1. I have a 2011 LGT that I just finished building an engine for and I am looking to get it tuned soon. I have been getting a CEL telling me that I have a bad catalytic converter.

I have not been able to get my hands on a catted or a catless downpipe, but I really want a catless one. I have a local fabricator, but I have not been able to connect with him yet.

I am willing to pay for shipping, and I appreciate any info or hookups you may have... Thank you in advance!!!

  2. Worth it? Hard to say. From what I've observed in this forum, stage 2 (downpipe + tune) appears to have negligible gains over stage 1 (just a tune) in 5th gen LGTs, especially when compared to gains 4th gen LGTs had from stage 1 to stage 2. I suggest looking at all the dynamometer plots on here, and make a value assessment.

I have been looking at getting a downpipe and a tune for a while now. I have had two other modded Subarus previously, and the 5th gen LGT is a completely different setup from what I am used to.

From what I learned on this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/5th-gen-gt-power-roadblocks-and-solutions-259192.html

A true "Stage 2" setup would include a downpipe, upgraded injectors and fuel pump to achieve maximum performance from the tune. You can squeeze quite a bit more horsepower from doing a stage 0 tune (again, according to the aforementioned thread). I don't have any experience with a stage 0 tune, but I am sure someone else can chime in here.

I am saving my pennies so I can do all three upgrades before I go get tuned.

  3. PO204 is for a cyl 4 injector circuit malfunction. PO304 is for a cyl 4 misfire. I wasnt sure if you possibly mis typed it. Either way you should get it looked at. If it comes back that is. Either of those codes can lead to bad things. Just my two cents.

My bad... it was P0304, but it is running strong and no issues since swapping out the spark plugs. I want to make sure that I don't have any issues before starting to modify and getting tuned.

  4. I have had a P0204 CEL for the last 2 or 3 weeks on my 2011 LGT (misfire on cylinder 4). Everything I looked up and read about it said that it was either a faulty spark plug, or a bad coil pack. The car just turned 90k miles. Over the weekend I replaced the spark plugs, and I had to remove the battery to get to the plugs on the right side of the engine bay. The car is running fine so far... and removing the battery cleared my CEL so it was a win/win.
  5. I bought the Invidia N1 dual exhaust from an 08 sedan and took it to a shop in Kaysville and had them fabricate it to fit on my 05 wagon. It was louder than my stock exhaust, but that is exactly what I was looking for. Now I have to save up so I can give my new Suby the same treatment.

I am the proud new owner of the 2011. I'm not sure why the KSL ad is still active almost 2 weeks later...

The guy I bought it from said that it was a rebuilt title because of "front end damage". I took it to a buddy of mine that runs a body shop and he looked it over and said that it never at any point sustained and damage to the front end. He showed me that it was hit on the passenger side between the front door and the front quarter panel. He also told me that it shouldn't have been totaled for that amount of damage.

When I called State Farm to add it to my policy they ran the VIN and told me that their search didn't show anything about it being a rebuilt title.

I still need to pull a carfax on it to confirm...

  7. Way back in the OP should be the link where I got the OEM discs. They are at a VERY discounted rate from that source. I don't have any idea if it is still a valid source or not though lol. If the website is up, he's still making discs. Shoot him a msg and snag a copy.

I have the .iso files for version 9 and version 10, I just wanted to ask if anyone else with a 5th gen has had any luck before I sacrifice another disk.

  8. I stumbled across this thread last night as I was searching for an update to the 4.0 navigation DVD's that came with the 2011 Legacy GT I bought over the weekend. I saw that another 5th gen owner tried version 8 and and it worked for them so that is where I started. Version 8 works like a charm and I had turn by turn navigation all the way to work this morning. Many kudos to proflashrtist for your work!

I am curious if anyone with a 5th gen has had any success with version 9 or version 10?
