  1. Last I heard from COBB on 3/6/18

“Thank you for your continuous interest in our products! Flex fuel for this vehicle is actually our current project. However, we just started the actual project, thus it still may be a few months out. Make sure that you are signed up to our newsletter to receive the latest updates on upcoming projects. Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!”

Fantastic!!!! I have been considering the switch from open source to Cobb(mostly due to who tunes in my area). This will make my switch easier to digest knowing this is coming.

  2. Email Cobb directly people!! I spoke to them a few months back and they said they are still looking into it. Awesome if they will do it for manuals at least.

Don't let the negative Nancy's stop you from contacting Cobb.

Some FB people tried to tell me that their efforts are enough and not to bother trying. Screw that logic

Well articulated requests to show interest will go further than everyone sitting playing with out thumbs. Maybe it won't go anywhere but why not try???

  3. His peeps, sorry this was so delayed getting the details posted. Legacy meet details:

Sunday September 24 11:00 AM meet/cruise/eat. My Google maps link messed up the route. I'll have to create a new one today.

Meet in the Shopko parking lot on 5500 s and Redwood road. Just off the i-215. North of Shopko, west of the burger king.

Take off around 1145 AM. Head up east canyon, to hennefer, loop around and back down East canyon.

Cruise is about 2 hours and we will end at the The Union for food and drink.

Plan is to still meet at Shopko in the morning. Weather is saying things might clear up by Mid-day. But as Fro mentioned the temps are what have us concerned for summer performance tires. The destinations are ok, its the high passes that are iffy.

However regardless of the weather we will have a good time. Plan is to head to get some food and or drinks if the weather is foul. A local shop owner in West Jordan has offered to let us gather there. The Union in Midvale however is expecting us and would also be a good time.

See some of you tomorrow, time to go cut an endlink bolt. :spin:

I'll have maps posted this weekend. Hope some of you can make it!

  5. Well I made the plunge. Sooooooo worth while. I did the 2015 rack, white line steering bushings, STI u-joint, roll correction kit and STI JDM springs.  Just the first block the car felt like a totally different beast. So happy I did this.

So far I have zero VDC issues. However with the snow and just barely doing the mod I havent been able to do much hard cornering.

Rattsl - Can you even find a re-manufactured rack? When i was looking no one had any so I ended up hunting for a wrecked STi. I found my rack with 15k miles and a inner tie rod that was at 90 degrees lol. So replaced the tie rods and I was golden.

Technically the rubber u-joint is safer. It is designed to break in 2 in a wreak and that is why it is rubber. Not sure how the perrin clamps affect that. So I just swapped in the STI one, screw safety

I will report back in a while after I get some miles on the car. Hopefully I can take it on a road trip down south in a couple of weeks.

    -Cheers and happy modding!
