Thanks for your reply
So if i just need it to for bluthooth audio gps and usb connect
All what i need is
Tablet itself
Usb hub
Memory stick
How can i connect the speakers with the tablet then
I bought my car with a Parrot Mki9100. The previous owner used that to connect the tablet to car stereo via bluetooth

It's called China Camp state park. It's in Marin / San Rafael California.
I have been biking there for about 6 months. This was the first time this happened. Typically that's a field for a half mile to the bay. It was a king tide and flooded. I was really lucky that I had parked at "high" spot.
Adding to my must see list, I just bought my first mountain bike. There are so many great trails in the Bay that I intend to check out this spring/ summer
-
I've been able to pass while stage 2 (oem catless up) and a cobb dp with a turbo blanket + cut up stock heat shield.
EDIT: This was with stock mid/y/mufflers.
Congrats!!! Good for another 2 years.
-
glad your problem is solved, I'd like to fix mine this year. It only happens when I have passengers or the rear hatch loaded
-
If anyone in the Eastbay (or willing to travel) needs a stock downpipe, PM me.
Took a chance, Passed smog with no prep on my end. Good for another 2 years.
-
socal porting does a great job, they did my VF52 a while back. Did you coat the hot side also?
-
I dont have random shutdown issues, but sometimes the screen doesn't start up with power from the car. I will note conditions next time I have the issue
-
I'd Recommend at least bumpstops and UCAs. Might as well throw in new top hats and rear spacers too.
Dont wait on an alignment. I killed a set of rear tires in 4k miles due to toe wear

Looks good! What is your setup? any rubbing issues?
-
Pretty sure if I tried that I would find all sorts of new rub. Hoping for a track day this year. So will see what I can get to stop rubbing before then.
Ditto, I'm looking to head back out at least twice before the end of the year. Probably not in the outback though, I recently bought a 1999 prelude to goof around in. I can keep you updated with our schedule, I have a group of friends who track regularly.
Is your car ready now? When do you plan to attend?
-
Any of you just do a downpipe? How much that that change the sound? I loved the sound of my Cobb on my WRX, but I keep hearing horror stories about the exhausts on our wagons........ combined with dealing with the turn downs.
I love Rhitters comment "They are easy enough to take on and off though and a I keep doing that." I really need to leave NY. I have never done an exhaust job that didn't involve cutting.
I currently have a catted downpipe and stock catback.
I barely notice a difference on idle/Everyday driving, car still sounds stock to me. I do notice a slight difference at WOT, but that can be because car is pushing more power to the ground.
I know a muffler upgrade will sound good, but in the end I enjoy stock sound with extra power.

Has anyone passed a smog in the Eastbay with a catted downpipe lately?
Thinking Ahead, this is my year. I am due around October, and would like to avoid a few hours of labor in my driveway
-
Welp, changed my o-ring, but I still get a scream during the first 10sec of warmup, sometimes longer depending on temps.
I have a leak somewhere in the system, I am constantly topping off fluid. Another project for another day.
-
Spotted a Blue OBXT with the hitch mounted bike rack, little before midnight on highway 24, nice wagon. I drive the gold one
-
Got it, I think my issue is different.
In my case, sometimes I will turn my car on, but the tablet will not wake from a deep sleep. This will go on for days, until the battery runs out or until it magically decides to turn back on. Sometimes when the screen is off but the car is on, I can hear the hangouts app receive messages while I am in my driveway
Unfortunately I have not found any consistencies, and happens once every month or two. I am running timur as well
Yes, that's exactly what it does.funkycharms: by default, if the tablet is completely powered down, just applying external power will bring up a charging screen (pictured below) but now actually power on. With the "off-mode-charge" setting disabled, the tablet will actually boot up when it's off if there's any external power applied.
-
Does your tablet not turn on with power sometimes?
-
Make sure your belt is not loose as well.
Thanks. I started with tightening my belt, hoping that was the issue. Figured it may have been loose as I replaced both accessory belts a few months ago, but unfortunately still had the sound when the car was cold
-
Welp...I guess I will add this to my to-do list, my car is a screamer in the morning
-
Looks good!!!!
Changed my wheelsDetails:
XXR 550 18x8.75 19p with 225/40/18
-
*not speaking from experience*
From what I've read anything over 225 is hit or miss with rubbing. I wanted something that I knew wouldn't rub, so I went with 225 > 245. I have 17s stock height, 18s might be different.
I think you will need to replace the bumpstops or grind stock ones...outback bumpstops are huge. you can find a set of takeoffs cheap.
Swaybars are nice. Rear OB bars are pretty small which causes the car to understeer more. In the end i think it comes down to personal preference. I am extremely satisfied with stock LGT springs and 22mm F/R setup. I would recommend changing endlinks and reinforcing the rear brackets if you choose to go this route.
Hey peeps. believe it or not, i have read both V1 and V2 over the last couple days. so much awesome info here, but a lot of info to comb through! i think i have a good idea of what needs to be done, just need some confirmation.I've got a 05 red 5AT OBXT. here is the list:
BC racing coilovers(OB most likely)
megan racing rear rear and rear front links (to help with camber)
LGT bumbstops(or do i need them on coilovers?)
245/45/28 on 18x8 with 45mm offset(will it rub? is there a better option? not trying to roll if possible)
plan is to lower it a inch or so lower than LGT height. my ultimate plan is a solid handling DD sportwagon more than anything else, so is there something else i should consider? new swaybars and endlinks? is removing the body spacers necessary? do i need new links for the front as well or just the back?
thanks again for all the info here. im pretty sure im on the right track, but this is my first time lowering a car, and i want to make sure i do it right!:)
-
Are you using the OEM hitch?
IF so, what hitch lock are you using? the hitch receiver is sandwiched between two plates, and the one I have doesn't clear
i got to borrow the wagon while the jeep was getting a new fuel line. -
Nice wheels!
-
Thanks man!!! I really, really like them, but wish I didn't have to run a 5mm spacer... but is what it is.
Not nearly as much adjust-ability as the stock seats, but they are comfy as hell!! AND I don't slide around in the seat, at all!! Love them.
Sounds like the seat is a better fit overall. No point in having all that adjust ability if you can't dial it in. my lower back hurts with the stock seats
-
I dig the wheels, such a good choice!
Trip over the Sierra's and back. Turns out I still have a little bit of rub (unsure exactly where) on my rear driver side tire. Also, Pinks feel soft when the car is loaded down with people, dogs and gear.
What did you do to your Outback today? V3
