P0301 and P0304 started today. Car bogged down like crazy when i was accelerating hard from probably 40-60pmh.

88k on the car. still on original coil packs and 2nd set of plugs (iridiums)

P302, 303, and 304 all at once. Car seems to hesitate unless i go hard on it. I am getting boost so thats good.

Cleaned the MAF, air filter, and did lucas injector cleaner. see if she runs better tomorrow.

I have still yet to see my twins...

what happens if you have to reset it or something else that won't work via touchscreen...?

its never frozen. i guess if it did, i would just shut the car off and wait for hte battery to die or pull apart the bezel

two questions EB50 how do u turn the unit on/off? and how do u have the sound from it routed?

i have it hard wired, so it turns on and off with the car.

sound is through my cleansweep

does anyone know how big the opening is on the oem nav front panel in the normal "sunglass" holder

the nav screen price was 75 shipped from subaruparts.com The bracket to hold it in place is just a thin piece of metal w. 4 L brackets screwed into the vents with small screws. It holds it perfectly in there, the hardest part is lining it up so the screen isnt off centered.

A) What speakers do you have? That makes ALL the difference in the world.

 

CDT Coax fronts and JL VR rears (VR fronts blew)

 

B) Have you done any sound deadening in your front doors? Again, this made huge differences with my install

C) have you considdered doing a cubby install? I was playing around with the Alpine PXE-H650, and while many people like it, I wasn't happy, as it didn't have enough adjustments. I ended up putting my old Eclipse 8053 instead of the cubby on the dash.

I'm sure a combination of the above can make you very happy with the stereo.

 

(BTW, i haven't put them in the marketplace yet, been too busy, but if you need speakers, I've got a set of Boston Acoustic Z6's that are Legacy ready. They're built into spacer brackets, and tweeter brackets, just bold on. (3-4 longer screws may be requried.)

PM me if you're interested, or if you want some advice on how to get your setup sounding better. There's no reason that you can't get a good stereo with some elbow grease as opposed to getting a new car.
