How fast do you drive on the highway? in Site Polls Posted July 5, 2012 In my parts, it's an unspoken rule that you are safe up to 10mph over. I've watched an officer clock me at 7 or 8 over and I didn't get a ticket. I say that and I bet I'll get pulled over going 1 mph hour.
