I installed the kit and like it very much. However, I broke the first metal zip tie while trying to install it with the recommended tool by overtightening it. Good thing an extra one was included!
I installed the remaining two zip ties, but they are loose enough where they can be slipped off if moved to the side.
Also, I am curious as to why the one short piece is only needed in the front passenger side location...

Received mine a few days ago...Looks good! Will be installing it next week...

Updates? Yeah, machinists are fuqing expensive, lol.
I told one of the shops today to go ahead and make the damn things. Once I'm 100% confident that the kits are in production and I have an official ETA date I'll put the website back up so people can order them. I'll eat the cost and keep the price the same for a defined period of time after that at the very least and those who want them can order them. After that I may raise the price a bit depending on my final costs.
tl;dr - i'm trying to give the green light to make the kits, I'll let you guys know when that is official.
Thanks. You can mark me down for one of the kits for the later production run.

I would be interested in one of these kits, although I don't need to be on the expedited list.
It is certainly a good idea to have this installed, as I am going Stage II next week but I have to ask: what kind of percentage of the people who run Stage II has a boost leak from the intercooler been a problem for?
I drive the car hard, is it probable I am going to see a boost leak without this kit installed in the near future?

there are some comments... I simply cut the wire to the cigarette lighter socket. spliced in the ipod pro power wire... Put an inline connector in, and taped the crap out of it.
Is there a preferred place to mount the ground?

Are there instructions on the best place to wire in power and ground for the pro iPod kit hiding in this thread somewhere? Or can someone offer a suggestion as to how they went about doing this?

Will the plastic engine cover fit after the install or do you have to leave it off?

Ah, I didn't catch the part where you are supposed to "set" the lock. Are you just supposed to push the tab that retains the ball in further?
Any way I could just get the McMaster part # for the ties from you? I have to put in orders to them for work at least once a week and have an account with them.
