Can I get a recessed honeycombed grille? Very nice work on these grilles btw

He makes a recessed mesh grill, not the honeycomb.

Since my car is TSM it should help visualize the contrast better. I will be applying an overlay on the badge (black and silver) and have blacked out headlights so hopefully that is helpful in your decision. I like it on his car too though

I also have blacked out headlights and I think the black overlay will help tone the emblem down a bit. I was also thinking of the chrome being subdued a bit with black chrome, but then again it wouldn't match the trunk emblem.

I'm still game for a S402 grill. If for some reson I do change my mind I know there are many in line behind me that will snatch it up in a heartbeat. Maybe it's the color of your car, mostly dark with bright headlights and a shiney emblem. I wish I could see this on a BSM like mine.

Damn that grill looks very good, still not use to the emblem though...something about it is bothering me. It might be I just need to see more pics.

Is the 08-09 emblem the only one that fits or does the 05-07 fit also?

One of the reasons I offered to do this originally was because I was supposed to be getting furloughed and only have a 4 day work week. Instead they have all but gone away and I'm working 7. I'll work around it and my schedule will change eventually. I'll let you know as soon as I get some things done. Thanks for the patience.

I believe you are going to be a very popular, and busy, person very soon. Hopefully you make at least a decent profit from all your hard work and troubles.

I figured out how I'm doing it and one is almost done. It pretty spot on, it just needs an 08+ emblem for the center. I'll get some pics up later this week.

 

This is definitely the learning phase of it and it's been a lot of work tuning it in. I'll have it all laid out after this and be able to make them a lot faster going forward.

Kind of wish I waited now lol. I am still interested in one of these grills though, looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Would it work if I was to send you the grill I bought you and you made the moddifications or would it be easier with a used factory grill?

Got the grill I bought from you yesterday, I'm not home when post office stops by so that's why it took an extra 3 days to get it.

The quality of this grill is outstanding. Did you rattle can spray this? If so, this is the best rattle can paint job I think I've seen. The pics you posted do not do this grill justice.

What if I were to send you a grill and the plastic honeycomb from a Crown Victoria?? Could you so some S402 magic??

He will not be able to angle the honeycomb like the S402 grill, it will just be flat like the other crown Vic modded grills out there.

Man, if you can find a roll of honeycomb that looks like the S402 grill then you are gonna be making A LOT of grills.

Like Catalyst stated, the crown vic grill is used for the DIY and I don't think I've seen anything else used. kswagon has a DIY honeycomb grill with some type of different material but he said they no longer make it.
