  1. Yeah dude, I sadly had to let her go. I needed to reduce payments and pick up some MPGs, so I got a great lease deal on an Accord Sport. I had to jump on it after they offered me the KBB value for my car, even after some minor body work. Anyway, it's all part of a 3 year plan to save a little money and get in a WRX or maybe a 7th Gen LGT!

So yeah, I got some cables for sell, but I haven't priced them yet. I'd probably like to get about 75% of what they cost new, because I only used them a few times.

  2. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Kinda like the delayed throttle response at WOT when you take off from a dead stop. It's little things like this that makes it tough to accurately determine 0-60 times by using an app or using a stop watch. All these variables probably throws things off by at least .5 seconds, and everybody knows that's a big deal when it comes to 0-60 times.
  3. If your 0-60 time is indeed a full 1.5 sec. better than stock, your 1/4 mile time should easily be in the low 13 sec. range. I hope the numbers add up, but I will say that I have noticed the our speedometers are not quite accurate. When I drive past those mobile signs that show your speed, I'm always going 3-5 mph slower than what my speedometer says I am.
  4. How fast do I need to be lol? I doubt I'm in m5 territory.

Just wait till you go to the strip and we'll see how fast you are. But hell, if you are anywhere near M3, M5, or even LGT Stage 1 territory with a few bolt on intake and exhaust mods, I'll happily eat crow and immediately start following your mod path! Either way, we both win!

  5. Not trying to be a "Doubting Thomas" but are you guys telling me it's safe to believe that our $30K cars (+10K worth of mods, including SC, Headers, CAI, CBE, Tune, Bils) can out run and out handle a $100K M5 BMW? In that case, Raptor should pay ItalianLegacy to take his beast to the track and put some numbers on paper so they can start making some cash! Trust me, I WANT to believe!!!
  6. According to the EFI logics database, stock LGTs were running 0-60 in the low 5 sec. range in magazine tests. Stage 1 LGTs did 0-60 in the high 4 sec. with 260whp. So if your numbers are correct, you should easily be able to hang with a stage 1 LGT, no problem.

But yeah, I definitely need a new tune. I'm just waiting to save a little money and do the intake/exhaust mods first.

  7. ^I hear you, bro. I guess I'm just a little jaded since I went down the Visconti Ecutek road with not much gains. Granted, I didn't have any intake/exhaust mods, so I'm hoping that was part of the problem. Good thing is I still have my license and the cables, so I'm just waiting on some real numbers before I spend anymore money on power mods. I am, however, very stoked and impressed on what you guys are doing in the 3.6 world these days!
  8. So if we assume constant HP loss, 256/203 * 230 = estimated around 290HP at the crank. And 0-60 times are 5.2-5.3s.

Man, that is awesome. And trust me, as a 3.6 owner myself, I REALLY want to have faith in those numbers, but I must admit that it is a little hard for me to believe that with a tune and less than $2K of exhaust/intake mods you are a nearly .5 sec. faster than a stock LGT? Please, somebody take one of the modded and tuned 3.6R to the strip!
