Most Complete Retrofit List:
Sedan 05-07 (Rev A-C)
JDM Bumper
Bumper Beam (or cut USDM beam)
Bumper Brackets
Shock Absorber
Fender Liners (or cut original liners)
Fog Lights (JDM brackets, DIY brackets, or entire assemblies cut out of USDM bumper.)
Sedan 08-09 (Rev D-F)
JDM Headlights (Optional: Headlight leveling switch and plugs. Plugs available at Toyota or Lexus dealer.)(Requires rewiring and soldering skills depending on which lights you want to use and because the JDM headlight wiring connectors are different from USDM.)
Fenders

From Leke on the Rev D-F headlight wiring:
For the Rev D-F lights, the best thing to do is to take a battery harness and use the OEM (USDM) plugs as your means to activate the relay. The other (the wires that run to the headlights) terminals can then be modified to include the JDM plugs.
This method requires more work, but the overall result is much cleaner. You could easily permanently modify your stock wiring to work with the JDM lights. But doing this will make life difficult if you ever want or need to go back to a USDM setup.
The other part that requires thinking is the parking light and turn signal. On the JDM light they're different bulbs, but the USDM turning/parking light socket is integrated into one plug. Easiest thing to do here is to use the USDM plug as it is, but solder new wiring to the terminals where the bulb would sit. This requires a steady hand, as there is visually no space to work with. But, your parking light and turn signals would function as they would on the stock car. If you ever want to go back to a USDM setup, all you need to do is source a new turn signal/parking light socket.

The bracket I was referring to was the latter one you stated, the one that actually went in the bumper near the fender. Am I correct with this list?

Also are the USDM wiring connectors able to be soldered onto the JDM wiring? Maybe it's possible to solder the running and turn signal lights together so that they both light up and blink like USDM turn signals? I'm just spit-balling in this regard.

This is all 2005-2007 not 08+. Don't want anyone in our group getting their hopes up like I did earlier last year
For the 08-09 take all of the above and add actual JDM fenders and JDM headlamps. Also, there is still some concern about proper hood fitment but nothing conclusive yet.
fog lights fit, either need jdm brackets, make your own brackets or cut the housing from your usdm bumper.Someone please clarify if the 08-09 fogs need the same modification to fit for a JDM conversion

Is there actually a List of things necessary to do a JDM bumper conversion? I've seen pictures, rough descriptions, but never a documented list of parts needed for a conversion.

Does this mean I will not be able to use my stock rear diff on my 05? I plan on going with the 06+ STi trans.

right now I'm on Subaru Synthetic brand thinking of switching over to
Motul Synthetic 5w-40
06 LGT in So Cal so winters aren't that cold.
Just changed mine to amsoil 5w-40, and im in socal too. Good quality oil. Ive heard subies like the 40 weight, so I decided to see for myself and its all going good so far. I'll probably check in 1000mi to see if im consuming any oil.

Does anyone have experience with the Bilstein/Swift combo? I would love to see a picture of them on a GT. Also is there anything i need besides the spec b tophats when ordering the Bilsteins? (Set on the bilsteins for struts now just picking springs.)

I was thinking of the Bilstein struts and STI pinks. how is the ride compared to stock?

I was thinking of using the kyb gr2s with the eibach pro kit. Does anyone have any experience with that setup? I like the drop with the eibachs(in front .8in rear) if that combo isn't good what struts would be better suited for the eibachs?

That's what I'm running right now.
How is the ride? I've noticed my cars butt is sagging, did you have to have any spacers in to get rid of the sag?
