  1. I couldn't agree more about dealerships, i think making sweeping generalizations doesn't serve any rational purpose, which is even more to the point that it was a joke. So you do i have experience to draw from, i will concede that. i got your point, you disagree with the assessment that has been made of a lowball offer. I guess we can agree to disagree.
  2. i honestly have no idea why you are getting so defensive, no definite statements have been made, ive never claimed to be informed about the car, and actually on the contrary, i said, "I would be interested to see what they found that leads them to believe the engine is fried." i made a joke at the expense of dealerships. if you work at a dealership and took offense to that, i apologize as there was no way i could've known that. other than that, nothing was said about you except for someone having a different opinion. i did not miss any of that information. Being that's your point I'm curious as to your level of knowledge on the situation being that its from three years ago and this is the only comment that this user made. Judging from your generous use of "could" and "maybe", it sounds like you also have zero information on the condition of the car making your assertions baseless.
  3. It may be a legitimate quote from the dealer, but that doesn't mean that its fair. One might argue that the fact that it is a dealership quote would exclude it from being fair hahaha
  4. Im definitely still interested in at least getting a quote haha i wont know if im willing to pay the premium until i know what it is
  5. That seems in the relative ballpark considering labor. 1000 bucks as a trade in for a spec B with a blown engine does seem quite low. I would be interested to see what they found that leads them to believe the engine is fried.
  6. If you hadnt posted this, i wouldve never gotten my steering wheel controls to work. Thanks Garrygb!!
  7. 10-4, as long as it's all the hardware, splicing and or soldering connectors doesn't bother me.
  8. So maybe I'm understanding this wrong then. If all of the scoops are in 2x2 weave, then what are the differences. Thanks again madrig!
  9. Does anyone have an example picture of the weave on the cyber r scoop? Thanks!!
  10. is the Nav system still up for grabs? Its everything you need to plug and play?
  11. whats the difference between the 3 spoilers?! thanks a bunch Madrig!!!
