  1. Make me an offer, get these things to move. E85 go ZOOOOOOOOMMMM.
  2. I bought a 2024 Tesla Model 3 AWD, blue with white interior. Just like Doug Demuro said, “it is the greatest appliance ever” and a stark contrast to my 5th Gen.... My 5th Gen was loud, felt purely mechanical, was comfortable as a battle-axe, and I loved it. In comparison, the Tesla feels completely soulless. That being said, driving to work in the Tesla feels like riding in a cocoon of serenity compared to my 5th gen. I never thought my commute was stressful in the 5th gen, but now, I actually notice how relaxed I am during and after driving. That being said, I loved, loved, loved my 5th gen and shed a tear when it was driver away from my driveway by its new owner. 5th Gen go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
  3. This is a good deal folks! Somebody roll some e85 so I can live vicariously through you will I drive my soulless EV.
  4. 4 x Deatschwerks EV14 1000cc Injectors. Never used these. They fit a wide variety of Subarus including WRX 2002-2014, Legacy GT 07-12, and STI 2007-2015. Perfect for your e85 upgrade. Flow sheet included. Shoot me a DM. I'll try to check my messages daily.
  5. Bought these off NASIOC some time ago and left them in box. They appear to have some surface rust but I suspect nothing serious. Comes with springs, valves, and exhaust AVCS gears. Shoot me a DM. I'll try to check my messages daily.
  6. These brackets adapt 2004-2007 STI Brembo calipers to Subaru WRX GR, VA and similar models This includes:: 2008-2021 Subaru WRX 2009-2013 Subaru Forester 2010-2014 Subaru Legacy 2013-2021 Subaru BRZ/Toyota FRS/86 2013+ FRS. I ran these on my 2010 Legacy GT so as to be able to mount the 04-07 rear Brembo calipers. They worked great. I had them sandblasted - ready for powder coating to match your Brembo brake calipers. Also, comes with brand new high quality mounting bolts. Shoot me a DM. I'll try to check my messages daily.
  7. FWIW, I got it to fit but it was a hassle. See below picture.
  8. I think it has more to do with the AVO hose than the BPV.
  9. FWIW, the AVO intercooler hose + Kompact BPV fits like crap. I have spent hours fiddling with it and had to buy a silicon elbow hose to make it work but it isn't ideal by any means.
  10. Long time....but I ported the WG on my BNR VF54-TD05/16G. Maybe get it installed this Spring. Also, saw these on eBay -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-VF54-Header-to-EFR-Turbo-Vband-Inlet-Adapter-fits-2010-2012-Legacy-GT/133388433201. Probably already discussed on here but couldn't find it.
  11. https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-2010-2014-Subaru-Legacy-BM9-BR9-Dash-Climate-Control-A-C-Heater/124226800196 FWIW, I know some of you guys were looking for one of these.
  12. My family's next car will probably be a Tesla X. Seems like the best kiddo mover that is allegedly not a "minivan."
  13. LOL. I'm not sure if you are mocking me or agreeing with me. Good point. My reaction was pretty knee jerk, and I hadn't put much thought into it. I get it from a product perspective. Likely a low volume part. Probably not worth it to set up tooling, etc. for anything less than $800 a set (two brackets, right?). At best case, these guys would sell like 10 sets. From a labor perspective, it is hard to swallow as I suspect that $800 approaches what a creative shop doing it themselves would charge to make these in the process of installing a STI trans. How long to you think it would take a competent automotive fabricator build a set from scratch? To be clear, I've blown plenty of stupid money on less important items for my 5th gen, and if I fried my trans, I'd certainly be buying these.
  14. Woof. I doubt there will be at lot of takers at that price.
  15. The part number is 72311AJ050. I think I searched the part number with the word "black" until I found one. Sometimes they are on ebay (like right now ->https://www.ebay.com/itm/72311AJ050-SUBARU-OUTBACK-2010-HEATER-AC-CONTROLS-5TH-GEN-09-09-11-1/333216120664). I think I found mine on ebay.au (the Australia-centric version of eBay). I paid about $50. Also, the Dual/Mode buttons are swapped with the Fan+/Fan- buttons (I presume for right hand drive vehicles). Frankly, I like the controls better on the RHD version but it is a minor difference.
  16. Been working on this for a while. Hate the brushed metal. Bought black controls, bought a new console piece, bought a double din insert, glued the double din insert piece into console, sanded, more plastic glue, sanded, etc. Then, I tried painting it black but it never looked right so I painstakingly wrapped it in matte black vinyl. A little surprised that the black controls weren't metric....
  17. Also, FWIW, the fitment of the AVO chargepipe is terrible. In hindsight, I wish I would have kept the OEM and simply cut off the intercooler-connection end and bridge this area with a 6-inch silicone coupler. Instead, I have wrestled with the AVO-chargepipe half dozen times to get it to somewhat align with the turbo outlet without jacking-up the BPV connection. In fact, I have swapped the connection from the inlet pipe to BPV with a bent silicone coupler to relieve the mess, but it is still a frigg'n mess that is all caused by the AVO chargepipe.
  18. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HKS-METAL-CATALYZER-For-SUBARU-LEGACY-B4-DBA-BM9-EJ255-33005-AF017/192732145317?epid=1180997483&hash=item2cdfbb26a5:g:2CcAAOSwHORb-RE1 Haven't seen this down/side/J-pipe before.
  19. Pretty much my reasoning also. I would probably do Koni inserts if I didn't live in the rust belt (which has reduced both my bilsteins and OEM struts to rust monsters).
  20. Rear passenger side clunking. I'm thinking by rear right bilstein strut is failing. Thinking about buy Cusco struts. I've searched but I cannot seem to find anybody running them.... Has anybody here installed Cusco struts? If so, what do you think?
  21. I have a BNR 16G. BNR will also do a HTA68 as well.
  22. I feel good about it - great upgrade. I did the 19mm sti bar which was good, and then went to 22mm hollow bar (megan racing) which was better. No downsides.
  23. Probably not. The primary idea is that the stock arms (that the brackets would reinforce) may break if put under additional stress caused by a large RSB. If the stock arms break, it is cumbersome and costly to fix (bust out the welder). The reason I said "probably not," however, is because Subaru uses beefier RSBs in other cars (like the WRX) and I suspect (but don't know for certain) that their stock arms on the others cars (like the WRX) are any stronger than stock arms on 5th Gen LGTs. That being said, I installed the AVO brackets....
