  1. Just wanted to loop back and say I totally forgot about this problem. My fix has been so bullet proof I totally forgot about it.
  2. A bump to this thread to ask a simple question; edit: found answers to my questions, documenting here. When installing front door component speakers, is it difficult to access the speaker wires in the dash so you could tie into them to feed the crossovers in the front doors? Really don't want to be taking the dash off if i can help it. Doesn't seem very difficult at all. Also, from your reading and experience did you leave the dash speakers connected or just disconnect them and rely on the upgraded performance from the new component speakers in the door? I haven't dug into the car enough under the dash to know how much access I have in there. Also I assume the dash side speakers are going to be rather useless once the door speakers are upgraded. Dash speakers seem to be the small factory speakers/tweeters so these typically get replaced with actual tweeters if you have a component system up front. Not sure what the best decision would be if you didn't get components up front... i'd likely disconnect the factory tweeters in that situation?
  3. Bumping this thread because I was facing the same issue on a used 2015 I just bought. Here's my solution. I used a small binder clip and one of the metal ears. Put it in a vice and bent it over to the correct length (took 2 tries). Cut a slit in the bumper and squeezed the tabs inward to slide it in. From here you can put a bolt through it, or do what I did and take a plastic clip and take a few of the ears off so its narrower to go through the available opening. Either way you get the idea, just have to adapt it to your own purposes.
  4. Would these need to run any spacers or anything, or a clean bolt up? Same offset as stock wheels on an 18 Legacy but 8.5 vs 7.5 Thanks all. These and the 2011 STI Enkei's and 2015 STi wheels shown below have been my favorite combos so far in this thread.
  5. Is the consensus that the Eibachs are permanently out of production? Tire rack says ETA of 6/6/2011. From what I've read MSI did a group buy, but those are mostly gone. Apparently these Epic Eng springs are identical to the Eibach, so maybe that means they will become the solution going forward. Just trying to gauge the options for an Eibach/clone in 1 years time.
