Everyone's rides are looking great! Update: Recently attended Subiefest so we got festive and dressed for the occasion! We did the Autocross and actually didn't do soo bad haha! Having chopped off one of my fingers the day before the event (seriously, I got the chop ), being on all season tires, no tune, and honestly taking it easy.... out of 38 cars (most were STI's believe or not), we placed 15th. Yup, the lgt shocks are up front and obxt are still in the rear. It's very noticeable in the front with the reduced shock travel and the car feels more stable for sure with enough roll in the rear that it actually makes it a bit easier to break lose if needed. I have yet to bottom out (knock on wood) and I've hit some very hard bumps with a full load of passengers and gear during multiple road trips. I removed the rear bump stops. I did not remove the subframe spacers. I see no need to for my application and she's been doing perfectly fine for well over 80k on this setup.

Recently just rebuilt my BC Racing BR Coilovers. Front shock finally blew a seal after 75+ thousand miles. After the Star Speeder3000 was gone, it was back to business Picked up a 2015 STI steering rack. Whiteline sent me another care package to go along with the new rack. Roll Centre kit, heavy duty steering rack bushings, front strut bar, and camber bolts along with a pair of new work gloves! http://i66.tinypic.com/15dazq0.jpg

After the suspension was done, I decided to pick work on the cooling a bit. Right before the install, I also picked up an Ultra Racing rear subframe brace. Since the Legacy/Outback rear subframe sway bar mounting points are notorious for bending or even breaking when going with a thicker sway bar....I figured I pick something up to be safe. I didn't like the AVO brackets and thought the Ultra Racing rear subframe brace was unique...they're pretty much the only company I know of that makes such a brace. http://i67.tinypic.com/4jq6ax.jpg It pretty much tie's up the rear end. Haven't posted in a while but thought we could use this here. This is my front right BC Racing BR coilover after 75+k miles on them...yes, they lasted that long. They decided to blow just a few hundred miles ago... http://i68.tinypic.com/fyed77.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/n5o2ex.jpg And here's a nice little comperasion of a BC Racing BR "Outback spec" coilover (taller) and a BC Racing BR "Legacy GT spec". (shorter). There is a difference in shock travel and overall shock length...something that is not mentioned on BC Racing website. Only difference would be in part numbers. This is why I had been able to travel offroad or do some highspeed runs on graveled roads with no harm. http://i68.tinypic.com/152f9yg.jpg So if you plan to order BC Racing BR coilovers for your Outback, make sure you ask the shop you're buying from whether or not they are "Outback spec" because I received a lot messages from people that they bought BC Racing BR coilovers but they got saggy butt...even when the rear coilover is at its maxed height...this is because the LGT spec coilovers are much shorter so that means they bought LGT spec coilovers. So just some fruit for thought Decided to go a little lower since my OBXT spec coilovers were at their lowest setting and couldn't get rid of that tiny little wheel gap up front.... Thank you! I am still using the stock trailing arms but I also have the whiteline bushings in them so i think that might have helped a little. I also removed my rear bumpstops so there is currently none in there. My BC Racing coilovers have internal bumpstops. I honestly have never maxed them out even with a full gear and 2 passengers in the back on long road trips to the mountains.

Can't remember but did you remove your body spacers? Curious because it does mention in the first post that we need to remove the body spacers on OBXT's. Wondering if actually need to get those parts in order to make this work. This is going to be my next mod since my leaky rack has nearly 300k on it and would never be allowed on track with that thing lol. Figured it would be a perfect time for this swap. -
Thanks! Honestly, you do feel up front a tadddddd bit more weight in the steering but nothing that would be of a concern or is over excessive. I can honestly yield that tiny bit of extra weight for better braking power. The upgraded system does stop on a dime and I no longer experience brake fade. The upgraded brake system vs to the stock system honestly was not that much heavier. I didn't get around to weighing them but the 6pot calipers vs the stock front calipers pretty much felt the same...same goes for the rear. Only the front and rear rotors were slightly heavier than stock but still, nothing major that would hamper performance
