Hello all. I've been pondering the idea of moving south from CT to SOuth Carolina. The main town that caught my eye was Conway and Columbia but I don't know anything about these areas. Can anyone shed some light? Crime? jobs? ect.

 

Don't know about jobs but Columbia is parked on top of hell. It is literally the hottest place in South Carolina.

I know almost every one is in the low country but fairway subaru in greenville is having meet Sunday at 2 pm.

Well, dependent upon where my wife gets accepted to med school (fingers crossed for MUSC) ill be moving. I want to move to charleston but etsu has an awesome physics program for me. Choices choices.

Yeah Scca pulled all support for rally cross in the south east in the early 2000's. trying to get it back has been tough to say the least.

On a side note: a friend and I have started working on an obs for rally purposes. It'll have a turbo 2.2 by the end of December. first real rally it'll see will be the sandblast held here in sc. And we are desperately trying to organize rally cross events. We just can't find someone to sanction and insure it yet.

I agree whole heartedly. If it were selectable on the fly I could see but doing a rwd conversion is beyond me. Buy a 240, add an ls1, do huge smokey drifts.

for the money that inserts cost and the work that is involved, there are much better routes to go. i looked into it about a year ago and quickly realized it wasn't worth the time.

they will fit with just about any struts from an impreza that is non-sti 05-up. pretty sure they will fit the legacy struts but you will need impreza tophats.

if it doesn't, i have the engine still sitting here.

no they aren't really shorter. the rear might be. i have 05 wrx struts on mine and it didn't lower it any in the front but it did in the rear by about .5". thats what everyone is referring to when they say "saggy butt".
