So for this WRX fronts/H6 rear brake upgrade....are people buying SS brake lines for a legacy, or for a wrx?

 

Or ss lines wrx front/legacy rears.

 

I read in cameroncamera's thread that he used legacy lines, but then the rears he had to set it up differently. How bout other people who have done this upgrade? I'm collecting parts now and ready to do it myself, but am wondering bout the SS lines.

Was wondering this as well.

It will.

Kartboys 02-07 WRX shift levers, rear shift bushing, and front shift bushings fit 95-99 Legacys as well. I've confirmed this tonight with an install on my 95 Legacy

Woot! By "shift levers" you refer to the shift handle? So short shift kits will work?

Well, o got it done. Lost a circlip, and I second disconnecting the temp control cable in the passenger footwell.

Cannot stand fiddly work, and I have big hands, so I found a way to get it open wider.

Remove these screws, and lift the tabs just in front.

Carefully pull it open, there is still a ribbon cable that connects the two halves.

In this picture, the heat control arm is removed.

I got it open about an inch.

Not a bad job. Looking forward to driving it tonight. Oh...if you lose a cir clip, and have to drive, the car works fine without the instrument cluster, but the blinkers do not.

Lojasmo you might find this link to be informative. It describes the light change procedure for the instrument panel cluster lights.
