i've been sort of waiting to see the numbers for the "S" brand here, but actually I don't really care, the BBK works for me, i'm happy, um end of story. :) oh yeah, it is good to know that you can run the stock wheels with the 328mm kit, now i have 3 sets of wheels that will work on the obxt, whoppee !!!

  2. i'll apologize in advance if this is covered in one of the previous 24 pages of this thread.... For the GLI with the RCA plugs, referring to the 2 brown wires, "Connect the brown wires to ground only if there is no sound out of the amplifier. Connect them both to the source chassis case."

In your or anyone else's experience, do we need to use the brown wires? This will probably help me determine where to place the GLI and also what patchcords and lengths to use.

  3. i was about to order the board and GLI from the website. Wanted to make sure I understood the patch cords needed if I didn't want to use a splitter/adapter.

ipod-like device -> mini-stereo plug (male) to rca (female) patch cord -> GLI -> rca (female) to mini-stereo plug (male) patch cord -> jazzy board.

    is that right?

  4. CELs and all this brings up something that's been bugging me. I did a bonehead thing and gassed up and forgot to secure my gas cap. I drove for at least a couple of hours continuously on the freeway and only noticed the cap being off when i got home and saw the flap still open. :icon_frow I thought I would have gotten a CEL with no cap on. I know that some cars even have a warning light if the cap is left off. Is this a case of the AP doing its thing and suppressing a CEL?
