Sorry for reviving a dead thread, but has anyone ever had a set of '04 STI BBS' restored? I have a set that came on my car when I bought it, but they are beat to shit. Lots of curb rash and general wear. Id love to keep them, or replace them, but I have no idea if it is cost effective vs picking up a different set since they dont exactly grow on trees lol
Depends on what you need done. When I got my set they were in rough shape. Had a local wheel repair show clean up the rash and powdercoat them.

This great deal on SPC rear LCAs. Somebody snap them up.
SPC Lower Control Arms 15+ STI/WRX
Will 15+ LCAs fit? I know 10-14 will.

Keep the heat gun as your roll and go slow and you should be ok.

Koni's with Eibach springs are not all that much stiffer than soft stock 2010-2012 springs. I would imagine they are close to how '13/14 Legacy springs are.
You can still get the Eibachs off of their site for like $90. I posted it on here somewhere last year.

Have you thought about going with full coilovers? With what you've spent so far it might be the next option. I'm selling my eibachs and Bilsteins to go with Fortune Autos. I corresponded with them and they recommended 8k/8k for the wagon for a little softer ride. Otherwise you would be looking at 8k/10k. You also have the ability for height adjustment so you wouldn't need spacers.
My buddy has a 15 Sti with the same coilovers and they do ride pretty nice.

I would need the opposite of spacers. Wheels are too wide and rubbing. Car needs to come up or tires need to go in. And it's rubbing now with a lot of negative camber. Those rays are 19x9 in the back with 245-45-19 toyos.

Sorry, yes GTeaser was correct I was referring to top hat spacers.
What offset are the wheels?

I wish I had his skills.

Have you thought about running spacers in the rear? Can't remember if you are running sedan or wagon springs. That might help with the sagginess in the rear.
Car is looking great though. Stock exhaust?

Do the crossbar bolts thread right into those hidden mounts or thru the roof?
Don't know but I have a contact in Norway that says he will take pics tomorrow and send them to me. I'll post those when I get them. These are the bars he's using and his car.

You are awesome sir. Looks good. Do you plan to get any cross bars for it?

No Im not keeping the outback rails. I will post pics tomorrow of what I will
Be using. I have drilled holes for 2009 impreza hidden fixed points. I have the jdm br9 flat rails the I bought on japanparts. They have small flip doors to bolt crossbars in the fixed points directly. No more bulky bars on top!

Can you take pics of the install? I bought the rails used but it didn't come with any instructions and I'm not sure if I received all the parts.

I don't know?? I have some whiteline adjustable lower control arms. I don't know if it's gonna be enough.

Take a look at this post. Will shed some light on what others have done to get camber and toe within stock specs.

What are you using to adjust camber? Are you going to run Legacy rear upper control arms? I know a few outback guys that are lowered that are running the arms in conjunction with other things for camber adjustment in the rear.

Are you putting in the Legacy rear upper control arms to help with the camber?

??? What bumper will you use then??

Actually going with an aftermarket one. Kinda keeping it somewhat hush till I get it. Also plan to be selling my suspension and wing soon for the wagons.

That is looking great. I'm planning on doing the same. I am actually selling the stock JDM rear bumper now to go with a different one.

Ex Japan.
They're JDM/RHD only as far as I know.
NB: true colour is white, not pinkish, white balance is a bit off/chromatic aberrations
Man your car looks good. Guessing 18" wheels on there.
Are those the projectors and surrounds that come installed with the headlights?
I know you can swap something to turn RHD halogen headlights to LHD but I wonder if there is a way to do it with projector housings. Thanks for the pics man.
Also what roof box is that?

I have CrystalEyes. Front and rear.
And yes, they do have auto leveling - works perfectly. HID stock ballasts go into precisely the same compartment as on the stock HID headlights. Basically you move the ballasts over and off you go laughing, plug'n'play.
No issues with the quality either. Any more red flags?
Where did you get the Crystal Eyes from? Any pics of your install by chance and how they look on your car?

Is anyone else getting the exhaust smell after adding an intake or exhaust?

Local Subaru guys suggested a Ford tech of over 7 years to do my alignment. He got me in that day, spent and hour and a half getting everything how I wanted it. -1.5* camber all around, 0 toe, 0 caster. Best $90 alignment ever!!! Was in the shop the entire time with him just bull shitting.
I wouldn't be happy with those numbers, that's for sure though!!!
Where did you go? I'm in Omaha also and have been looking for a good place to go to.

Really? The site said they have 3 sets available. Try emailing the customer service and tell them you wanted to buy the set at the online rate. That's what I did and they gave me a certain person number and extension to talk to and buy from.
