On my wife's 06 2.5i wagon the battery was going down every 2 or 3 days of non use. I did some digging into it and found the info display was flashing ACC and some times ERR also the overhead airbag light was on 24/7.
I discovered that there is a TSB for the TPMS connector on these MY that is not used in this version. The problem is it is tucked away under the drivers seat carpet and gets corrosion in the connector causing a resistance connection between contacts. The TSB say's to cut the green wire and tape it off.
I did this and all is good!

Thanks!
A few things I've learned since I wrote this:
Use a dremel (or similar) to cut a small notch in the license plate bulb black plastic area to give clearance for the backup camera cable. You don't want to pinch the video and power feed in that spot because vibration will cause the cable to chafe and eventually fail. I made this mistake and noticed it when I replaced my failed backup cam.
The Nav screen works OK for the backup screen, but I much prefer the displays that are embedded in the rearview mirror. In my 09 Outback, I installed a Gentex rear view mirror from the 10-12 Legacy/Outback with the embedded video display. It's much brighter in direct sunlight light and overall crisper than the 4th gen Subaru Nav screen.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160912/6ab4a0d83f5dd072962e785d3491dba8.jpg

I just picked up a 2011 Legacy homelink mirror with the display (Gentex)
Question for you:Where did you get the harness with the 12 pin connector for video and wire it in? I've been looking around this evening but not finding much to go on.
Thanks

Hey, is there any chance you could repost the pics from the OP, using another service? I realize Photobucket screwed a lot of people over, but even posting them here at this end of the thread would be a useful reference for people who are interested in doing this mod (like me). I could probably figure it out but it's nice to have the pics.
If you use Chrome try this, I can see the pics in the first post with it installed.

That is correct it is an unused connector that is taped to the harness.
TPMS was apparently an option on some of the H6 models but the connector is on all. The open end on the connector allows corrosion to grow on the fine contact connector.
I found a nice green line growing across the face of the connector.
